Dear Friends, Due to the overwhelming amount of complaints over this last contest I have decided to not go ahead with the contest. I just don't have the time to devote to everyone's needs. It's just a small pitiful little tiny contest. It wasn't anything big and it seemed like no one understood that and just complained about not having enough time or not being good writers and having a set amount limit and it's just too much. I don't need all of that. I don't mean to be rude but it was just a tiny contest. Not a big deal. Maybe it was to you and I respect that but put yourself in my shoes, I'm trying to do something small and happy and it was blown away due to really un-nessesary complaints. So maybe next time I won't choose a poetry contest. I basically just fucked myself.  Love, Haullie  |

I really would have tried to do my best and write something good, mml.... i just seem to have something with my bad grammar that pisses me off some times.

yeah I just wish some people wouldn't make such a big deal out of the small things. If there is somehting in the contest you cannot pertain to you can always try another time on another contest instead of like picking apart every little thing. It's not just one person, it's like everything together. After a while it becomes a little overwhelming ya know? Cause it's just like everything else. But I don't know. We need to have rules saying "the decision of the administrator is final and no correspondence shall be entered into etc etc" Pick the person working in the legal profession! Sorry to hear of the cancellation. Wasn't really planning to write a poem myself, but was definitely looking forward to seeing the entries! |

Oh, it's a bad new this... cos I have the poem in my hand, and i was about to write it here!!!!
but well, if it's your decision...
look, maybe i took it too seriously, but that's why everytime i talk about tori i do it very seriously. i mean, i'm not talking about any person, or an object like a spoon or a platonic love. i'm talkin about tori, and she means too much for me...
maybe it's a stupid reaction from me, but well...
if you want, maybe it could be a good idea to make a topic where we can write the poems we wrote, but without an award. just the poem, and if u want, the explanation about it.
i don't know, it's an idea.
anyway, thanx for everything, it was a good idea!!!

i know, i know... but... a few days ago i said that me and the computer we use to have hard fights. if the pc had hands, she'd slap me every time i use her!!!!!!! so, i barely can use two sections, to be in a third one could confuse me at all!!!!!! i know, i know, i'm crazy: i also write the whole name of the second album of Fiona Apple!!!!!!  But I just can't help it!!!!!! ;D |

yeah, i needed it! but if the rule was only two days, i tried to make my best, and i hurried and tried to write something... anyway, you make me discover something: sometimes, when you write under pressure, you make things that you wouldn't imagine that you could do if you took all your time. i mean, the whole afternoon i was thinking phrases and words... and in 20 minutes, before i came here, i wrote it "Soldier", the poem, because i knew that i MUST come here with one poem and be in the contest. and that's how the poem went off, and i like it. i like it, especially when i remember that i wrote it in 20 minutes, and i wanted to win a contest!!!! that's something amazing, i didn't know i could do that. thank you a lot, haullie, really. i'll try to call the Inspiration in that way, when she is with Jewel... thanx!!!! it was a nice experience!!!!! |
