I NEED TO VENT! I am so sick of being single! I am truly happy for all of you forum members who are in great relationships, but I feel like I'm the only unhitched one here! I go to the U of M-Twin Cities. You'd think that with 50,000+ students here I would be able to find someone I could connect with but nooooo... Here is what has recently been pissing me off about my male counter-parts: (DISCLAIMER these are generalizations, of course)

1) They feel the need to have drunken snow-ball fights every night instead of doing homework
2) When they're not playing in the snow they're watching COUNTLESS episodes of the Simpson's
3) They have no career aspirations as of yet - MAYBE studying to be a P.E. teacher does not count
4) They have bad taste in music - if I hear "Hot in Here" by Nelly one more time I'm going to hurt people

So, that rant will hopefully last me for awhile. I'm basically sick of singledom but my options aren't lookin' too stellar from this vantage point...

Fearscape, honey, i'm sooo sorry! LMAO about the Nelly song...omg. Hey, if it makes you feel any better, my husband did most of those things in college too (no Nelly then, but we did have Ton Loc and Vanilla Ice! lmao) and now he's a real grownup guy with a real life, and a love for Tori among other great artists, lol! Hang in there...you know what they say about boys...

Can't live with em, can't live with em. Or something like that!

what are you looking for in a "partner"? i literally had a written list of about 1,000 things i wanted (made over years and years) in a man, and never EVER thought i'd find someone who would fit my ideal.

funny, though...the real problem was finding someone to deal with me!

if i can find someone wonderful, anyone can!!!!!! 50,000 students is nothing! *ummm...well...kinda* i mean, there's 6 billion people on the earth, right? there have to be AT LEAST 100 intelligent, beautiful people you could possibly connect with.
