Too tough!!! But I have to say "Memento"...for now! GREAT movie!! I love movies like that. If a movie doesn't require much thinking, I don't like it. ...except for... my favorite! Wayne's World! I know, an odd choice, but it came out when I was in middle school and my best friend and I had a tradition of watching it nearly every time we got together (which was every weekend, if not more often). We spent tons of money on renting it, then her mom bought the vhs, we watched it until it broke, and bought a new one which is getting worn out too!! I can actually recite the entire movie. ...sad, really As for more serious movies: the Matrix Memento Good Will Hunting (though i can't help but laughing at movies set in Boston, since I'm from the area. most actors make the accent sound pretty odd. Matt Damon is from the area, too, though.) LORD OF THE RINGS nearly ANY Tom Cruise movie new or old (Cocktail, Rain Man, A Few Good Men, The Firm, Interview with a Vampire, Minority Report...) Robin Williams movies (especially "Toys") most Kevin Spacey movies Favorite children's movie: Alice in Wonderland The ONLY two chick-flicks that I like: Fried Green Tomatoes Ever After

The X-Files: Fight the Future The House of Mirth
Let's see..I also really liked
-Ever After -Great Expectations (the version Tori did songs for)-people say it wasn't as good as it could have been, but I think it was really a good modern day view of the book. -most Stephen King movies -Meet the Parents!!!!! great movie..

*Life is Beautiful (sooooooo wonderfully sad and comedic at the same time!)
*The Last Unicorn (my fav from childhood, it still makes me cry every time)
*What Dreams May Come
*Untamed Heart (heehee- saw it when I was 15 and fell in love!)
*Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (it's a family inside joke thing)
*The Crow (so, so, SO amazing!)
*Raise the Red Lantern (awesome pick, orfeo! I don't know anyone else who has even heard of it!)
*The Nightmare Before Christmas
*Il Postino (spelling? I only saw it 3 times, but fell in love! I love Pablo Neruda! (once again, spelling?)
*Little Women (with Kirsten Dunst and Winona Ryder) - I've read the book about 400 times and seen the movie just as many times!
*Liar Liar - Jim Carey at his best!!!!!! (the pen that i hold in my hand is rrrrrrrrrrooooooyyyyyalllll blue!)

Argh, I can't BELIEVE I forgot Dead Man Walking!!
I also can't believe that it still isn't available on DVD (at least, not in Oz). It's on my definite 'to buy' list if it's ever available. I remember being in the cinema and for one sequence of about 30 minutes you could hear the slightest breath. No-one was moving.

lilyella, all you do to quote is go to the person's post (mine for example) and up in the right corner there is that little button that says "quote"..just click on it & that will automatically quote that person's entire post...it takes you directly to the white reply screen w/the text in brackets. If you don't want to quote all of the text, just delete what you want (but don't delete any of the brackets part where it says quote or /quote) Then just put your cursor on the screen directly below the quoted text & you can type your own text there along with it. The quoted text will show up in that cool box and anything you type below will show just as regular text, outside the box. Okay, now try it! Quote me, baby! lol

Orfeo, they have Dead Man Walking in the Columbia House DVD club and I've seen it on eBay, so it's around! I bought it for myself cuz it is an awesome movie. Really, anything with Susan Sarandon usually rocks.
