OMG lillyella, I just about DIED reading your description of how you enter a room. Sure it wasn't funny at the time, but.... LMFAO now! How's this one? Back in my primary school years, I was coming home and chasing a friend down the street. Completely failed to notice a tree. Ran into branches of said tree. Not right on the edge, just brushing past, but at least a metre in. Got a large number of scratches from that one. Back when my sister was young (3 or 4) my Dad used to take lots of slide pictures. It used to be really funny to watch them, because every picture of my sister she'd have a bandaid on her knee. You could sit there watching it shift from left, to right, back to left etc etc. Every now and then there'd be a picture with both knees covered. Come to think of it... I've never been admitted to hospital since age about 2, whereas I've visited my sister there numerous times. She got a softball bat in the head once. She was also single-handedly (or actually single-FOOTedly) responsible for the removal of the rope climbing frame at our primary school... I hearby nominate my sister for associate membership!

hey, i take pride in my creative ways of injuring myself! and i think i'm super cool LOL LOL, good attitude!!.....ya, it's a big joke with me too. Today i went out to lunch w/a group of girls...it was pouring rain. I walked across the parkinglot in a big hurry so as not to get drenched & I was trying to put my umbrella up at the same time...the darn thing would not go up & i was just getting pelted by the raindrops. I was so frustrated...carrying my purse, my folio/notebook & my camera, all bundled up & gonna look like crap by the time i get into the place where my girlfriends are waiting for me (i was 5 min late b/c my hairdryer & I had an argument & it won)....and sure, they look all perfect. So i get 5 paces from the entrance to the restaurant & FINALLY the umbrella goes up!!! LOL ya, a lot of good it did me then. I walked in totally soaked (wasted 20 min with that damn blowdryer for nothing! lol) and asked the hostess where my friends were.....they were all the way in back at the big table. I start walking down trying to look like i'm always soaking wet & what the heck are you all staring at anyway...lol ...and i lost my footing!....they have these darn spanish tiles that are raised along the edges & i caught the edge with my still very wet heel & made my way into the ficus tree!!!!! I HAD TO LAUGH AT MYSELF! Omg, at that point i was just in sight of my friends & the 2 that could see me from the table put their hands over their mouths & tried not to laugh at me (i'm laughable anyway)...but my laughing made them all laugh & even the waitress was smiling.....Ya, really funny...i had an armload of sopping wet belongings, probably 5 ficus leaves in my hair & all i could think was THANK GOD for waterproof mascara!!! My friends greeted me & my closest one said "Mayr, you didn't have to get all dressed up for us!!" Grrrrrr! lol Oh, no it didn't end there, are you kidding?? So i sit down at the table, saying my hello's....there are 5 girls at the table & they saved me a spot in the middle of one of the sides of the tables. I realize after i've been sitting there for about 5 minutes, trying to dry myself off, look at the menu, and talk with some sense that i keep feeling water drops on my head. What the....? ? ? At first i thought it was just my hair trying to drip-dry but it kept happening...drip, drip, drip. I look up & i'm seated directly below an airconditioning vent of some sort & it's totally leaking on me!!!! Aahhahahahaha!!! All the girls looked up, looked at me & then 2 of them said in unison...."this would only happen to Mayr!" Yep, only me! I'm the girl with the cloud of disaster above her head....following her all around!! LOL Anyone remember my story about how i fell off that wall at age 14 while trying to spy on my hottie neighbor? ? Yep, that was me!!

Oh, I definitely belong in the clutz club. I can't even count how many times I've fallen down the stairs. I have a scar now from the last time I did it.
There MUST be some bad luck in the air lately too:
In fact, I somehow "scraped up" (as the doctor put it) the surface of one of my eyes when I took out my contact lenses a couple of days ago. I didn't notice that it hurt much when it happened, but a few hours later I was in the presence of a ton of smoke at my best friends house because she left popcorn in the microwave too long. (I mean the bag was on fire and the house was full of smoke). When I woke up the morning after, sleeping must have dried it out and made it worse cause it was bright red (my dad says that it looked like it was bleeding) and I was in A LOT of pain. That's why I was MIA yesterday and today (until now)...
My mom's car alarm all of a sudden started going off and won't allow her to start the car. The car alarm was supposedly disconnected years ago...
My boyfriend's mother slipped on the ice today and broke her wrist...
the list goes on and on. Seriously, there must be some sort of cosmic disharmony or something!!

lol, looks like we all belong here!
i can;t stop laughing, hehehehehehe
i'm always falling or something that means injuring myself. like yesterday, i thought i was perfectly clear off the doorway, and i knocked my shoulder on it, really hard too.
one day a walked into about 20 different things, in my own house mind you. and one night i walked into the wall because i couldn't see. hehehehehe
and talking about siblings, when my brother and i were reallly really young, we were walking with our mom and dad, and he wasn't paying attention, and walked right into a stop sign. i almost wet myself, it was soooooo funny. and one year my dad had taken us to universal studios (like old school universal) and out of about 40 people on the little trollie thing, frankenstain chose my brother to walk up and put his arm on his shoulder, omg he was in the front in 2 seconds flat screamiong his head off, my dad and i just couldn't stop laughing.
hehehehehe

OH GOOD LORD, PEOPLE!!!!
I read this post the last thing before falling asleep last night, and had a terrible dream!
In the dream I looked down at my knee to see a little purple bruise on the top of it. As I watched, it grew and spread all up and down my leg, then all over my body until I was ONE HUGE FRIGGIN' BRUISE, FROM HEAD TO TOE!!!
I woke up panicked, pulling off my pj's to check that I wasn't all bumpy and purple....but sure enough, I got one big bruise on my thigh while I was sleeping.
IT'S NOT LIKE I SLEEP IN A CAVE ON TOP OF BOULDERS! MY BED IS COMFY! *sigh* - where do the bruises come from?!?!?*
heehee - seriously, guys, you kept me laughing all night and now again this morning......sooooo much like me, it's crazy!
((((HUGS)))) and kisses for your various bumps and scrapes!
