i voted no...i had frizzy hair and glasses in high school....i think that was the extent of god's humor..that i didnt need braces...lol

No...but I get asked all the time if I used to have braces. Even my dental hygenist asked me the last time I got my teeth cleaned.
I was blessed with straight teeth. I think I would rather have been blessed with good vision.

I had braces for three yrs I think. I believe, I was 12.. It sucked ass... before they even put braces on me, I had to wear some kind of retainer, THEN the braces.. and then another, different retainer.
it sucked major ass.
If you thought frizzy hair and glasses sucked... try glasses, hearing aids AND braces.. and long semi-frizzy hair. I was fine with hearing aids, HATED the glasses and the braces. Loved my hair for being so long lol

i had to use them... three times!!!!!  they sucked. the worst thing of all was that my dentist said "yeah, it's alright" and the year after that i had to use braces again. i hate them!!! |

Dammit, I hated braces! First I did the whole head-gear thing every night, then two and a half years wearing braces, and then another retainer for a year after that. Anyway, I'm actually kind of happy I went through all that crap - I'm quite proud of my teeth now!

Yes, I had them around the age of 14. They never really hurt or bothered me. The only thing that totally hurt soooo bad was when they first put them on, and they were trying to get those rings around my back teeth. They were like "honey, please bite down harder, HARDER!" And I just wanted to cry so bad! I can take physical pain, but that was just horrible! LOL. Had to wear them for almost three years, and headgear too. But now my teeth-ers are straight.  *charlene |

well, braces was about the only thing I DIDN'T have done to my teeth! LOL And all of you who went thru your awkward stages in school....it was surely just a stage, b/c you are all beautiful now!! *blushing* The worst part about having braces was getting them tightened. I'm pretty sure that qualifies as torture. |

Braces no, but I had to sleep with a retainer, why it beats the hell outta me?! I don't have perfect teeth, my mouth is so small my wisdom tooth doesn't have any space to come out, it's just sitting there while my teeth are getting tighter, not crooked just tight  . |

I had to wear braces for two years. It sucked. I can still remember this fuckin´week after I´ve got them, I could only eat yoghurt with bananas. Torture. But my teeth look nice! Monika, I have the same problem. When I´m 21 I have to get them out! OUch!!!  |

I never had to wear braces but when I was younger, I always wanted them ( don't ask me why) I guess because everybody else had them, I know that's lame. I used to put twizzlers inside my upper lip, and pretend I had them! hahaha I was so dumb! I just always thought braces were cool, with all the little colored rubber bands and stuff, although I have to say, I'm glad now, that I never had them because I know their painful, and a pain in the ass! |

AAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH I had to wear them twice b/c my jaws were soooo freakin narrow. I even had to have surgery on them when I had braces the last time and I swear that the they tried to kill me at the hospital b/c they didn't know how to take care of me. Boy it was awful. Thankfully my teeth are fine now. |
