I put option 3, although really it's a mix of options 2 and 3.
I found out about this board through hereinmyhead.com I think.
The reason I actually joined was because the atmosphere seemed pretty friendly. I mean, one of my earliest posts was on religious matters and I didn't get shot down. Also because not too many people had enormous signatures that take forever to download... (it's OK, we have a faster internet connection now so not so many probs with this!)
I'd checked out the board at the official web site and was rather turned off by the latest posts, which were generally either rude or inane/mindless. It was also a lot easier to find threads here, and a LOT easier for a guest to just browse to begin with.
Now I stay mostly because it's so damn funny ;D

Funny, i just went back & looked.....I joined just the day before you did......(nov12th for me, nov13th for you) And I ALSO found out about it from hereinmyhead...probably saw that same banner there as you....but Ponder this: We were really joining the same day, since you are almost a full day ahead of me there! ;D HAHAHA! Okay...maybe not, but you can still ponder it!   I also love the laid-back atmosphere & the wonderful personalities here. And another thing.....the people here are INTELLIGENT and have note-worthy input on various topics.....I like that! (especially since I'm one of the older members here ) And yeah, the mindless & sometimes crazy humor is a blast, too!  ♥ you all!!! |

but Ponder this: We were really joining the same day, since you are almost a full day ahead of me there! ;D HAHAHA! Okay...maybe not, but you can still ponder it! I have pondered... and come to the conclusion that not only have you done about 7 times more posts than me, you've done them in the same space of time! Here was I thinking you'd got a head start on your addiction! You know I rarely post Tori-specific things here. That's one of the reasons I like it. I can talk Tori if I want to, but I don't feel the slightest bit of pressure to do so because 9 times out of 10 we're all carrying on about normal everyday life. |
