Yeah, well, besides being a musician and one day cover a Tori song, one of my apparently unreachable dreams is one day direct and produce music videos.
I've not had much great ideas these days about videos, but remember one that i think it was cool and came when I heard Tori's song "Juárez"
The video starts with an elevator and Tori's there wearing a purple dress and people come into the elevator. Then the song begins and one of the people in the elevator hits a button which says "atheist", Tori starts singing, the scenes in the elevator are kinda dark and sometimes a flash lights making vision a little more clear. The elevator stops and two people enters to a room that looks like a simple 2nd or maybe 3rd flood, but it's full of other people acting like zombies and dressed with white dresses. They stand up in front a big cross with Jesus Christ crucified and a priest with blood in his clothes and an also covered with blood bible. The camera shows some parts of that room and then someone else hits another button which says "fanaticism", quickly a flash shows a woman crying blood tears while turns pages from the bible, behind her there's something that seems to be a tree painted yellow just like the whole place where she's in. Tori keeps singing and looking at people next to her, some of them look like prostitutes, others are gay people. Elevator stops in another room where there's a doctor taking a little skeleton out of a woman's body, It's a very dark room and the doctor smiles diabolically. Tori gets scared and jumps backwards, now she's alone inside the elevator and wants to get out, so begins to move to every elevator's corner, the song's almost over. Tori notices she won't get out until the elevator stops again, then it does. She runs to another dark room which seems to be empty, she looks for some way out and then finds a little light shinning a piano. Above the piano there's a sign which says "welcome to your very own hell", she looks at the sign, the piano starts getting burned and the song finishes.
Well that was my very weird and (possibly) dark vision of a video for Juárez, any comment will be very much appreciated (even the bad comments
).
