Coz I do!
A friend of mine said she thinks Tori is boring as hell, well i didn't want to start a fight so just said that everybody is free to have their own opinion and i don't expect the whole world to like Tori.
Goddamn it! why do some people only pay attention to the rhythm of a song and ignore the singer's voice and lyrics?.
Being not commercial doesn't mean someone is boring. Buh... i just thought i'd share this with you guys coz it's been running my mood these days.

I hate it as well, people can never grasp what they never try and if you ask me those who do say Tori is boreing don't have very good taste in music as it is so whatever hehe.

Well, i kinda agree with you. My friend is a fan of Björk, and mm.... i don't have nothing against her and don't want to compare her with Tori because their musical styles are very different, but anyway I think Tori is better. Björk is very good though.

Anyone who says Tori is boring is obvioulsy ignorant and narrowminded. They have no idea who Tori is or what her music means.

i never thought of tori as boring, she seems to have an amazing energy and passion when she performs (ive never seen her live, but on the tv) ...but i would understand if my friends said so... different strokes for different folks... ;D  |

I've never thought she's boring, maybe some of her songs are kind of acoustic but that's all, the lyrics have an amazing energy.
Thanks to Tori I learned to enjoy songs in a different way, i mean, not considering only the rythmn but also the lyrics and the singer's voice. That's why I love her.

my friends are all in to rap. now that is boring. i know the beats are sometimes infectious, but it's the same darn beat every single time. it drives me nuts. most people i know don't bother to listent to lyrics, but i am the opposite. i also hate when people tell me that tori stole everthing from kate bush. i don't know much about kate bush, but so many people have told me that. and doesn't everyone take a little bit from the artists that came before them? tori rocks and whenever anyone says otherwise i just assume they have bad taste.

People have attention spands that last 5 seconds, the problem is people don't want to expand their minds and try something new. Of course not everyone is going to like Tori, but a lot of the time people don't give her a chance because they are just too stupid to take the time and really listen, you know?

That's very true! if people took the time to really listen Tori's music and analyze her lyrics, they would love her!. She's talented in every possible way, that's for sure.

Actually more then boring I've heard a lot of ppl say she's depressing. I don't know it amuses me to here ppl who can be so shallow and not hear what she's really saying. Guess we're a selective bunch TORIMATES!!

OMG my dad says Tori is depressing, I just don't understand it at all. My mom once said that she likes some of Tori's songs like Crucify but her poses in her pictures make her sick lol. I dunno, parents these days. Oh and all my friends say she's a psycho bitch. The only person I can listen to Tori with is my cousin Maria!

my mom told me once that tori sounded like she was whining and she didn't like it. take it from the fresh prince "parents just don't understand" hehe...
but i also really hate it when you say you love tori and then someone goes "no, i like ani difranco or bjork"... well why can't you love both? and then a debate starts about who is better. all female musicians are not comparable people!!! i love both tori and ani and their musical styles are completely different so sometimes i'm in the mood to hear one and sometimes the other but they both rock. grrr... i feel better now.
