Hi people..
well, how i'm studying english (and i'm on vacation from my english course), i'd like to know (to take out) some doubts from the language.
It can be a space for others foreign that have some doubts too. I still didn't have courage to talk (with the microphone) in the chat, but one day.... You speak very fast hehehe, so i can't undestand everything.
Firstly, i'd like to know if is "firstly" right? Or do i must to use "at first"?
2 - why some people write in their signatutes ">3"?
3 - is "ya" the same thing of "you"?
4 - what's the meaning of "OMG"? (it's for you Haullie hehehe)

No, "Ya" is the same as "Yes"
"OMG" means "Oh My God"

<3 means 'heart" as in 'i heart you', another way to say i love you or love, instead of saying it...

oh, fabio, I must tell you that I love the way you currently "speak" our language here....I love that I can hear/read the Brazilian in you!  i just want to add that "ya" DOES sometimes mean the same as 'you'... as in the phrase: "love ya!".....or "catch ya later!" or "see ya!" but some do use "ya" as Yes.....actually I usually type it as "yeah", which also means "yes".......not to be confused with "Yay!!!" which is like a happy approval of something. and for those of you who want to make a heart look like a heart, like this: ♥ just type: & hearts ; ...... but don't put spaces between the & and hearts or between the hearts and the ;.......just type it all together! (i only put the spaces there so you could see what you need to type) ;D And you could say "Firstly,...." or just even say "First," but you wouldn't say "at first" in that context. i'll try it now, and then when it doesn't work, you can laugh at the computer geek that can't figure it out, lol. now that i think of it, i haven't been too good at figuring alot of computer/internet stuff out... my brain is on the fritz! lol
