The other night ago I was laying in bed listening to music on a Sacromento Radio Station when guess what came on the radio? Don't Make Me Come To Vegas!At first I thought ya know, it's probably just some thing someone is doing, maybe the DJ has an extra hour to just burn music through the airways. I thought to myself "This can't be a new single, we never heard anything about it." Then they played it twice! Twice! In like two and a half hours! Cause I wasn't sleeping well so I kept the clock radio on. and I thought to myself "wow Tori is getting more popular, kick ass! Thank you God!" Then the DJ comes on the radio and he says to everyone: "And that is the new one from non other than TORI AMOS! From her newly released album 'Scarlet's Walk', thats 'Don't Make Me Come To Vegas' folks." And I about screamed! Does he mean NEW SINGLE??? Is this going to be the new single? I about died. What if I was the first person on the planet to hear this song played on the radio?  Really though, that would be like the bestest thing. Course I can't prove it but believe me, I really did hear it. I wasn't just dellusional. What do you all think of this? I must know! Haullie |

That's so cool!! Is it a college radio station? Usually college stations play more stuff that's not released on singles than the regular commerical stations (especially at night). I was a Dj at my college and I played so much stuff that was not the usual radio fare (including Tori, of course). Stations usually allow certain programs to play more non-single stuff than others ("rotation" shows generally play the singles, "specialty" shows allow for more freedom of song selection). If it is a single, that would be incredible!!!  |

No it isn't a collage station because sacromento doesn't have one, the closest University we have is in Berkley and that is like 3 hours away near San Fransisco.
Yeah that would be cool if like Tori put out maybe 6 different singles. I'd just fall in more love hehehehe.

I don't know but that would be so cool. I wonder what the covers will look like haha probably poloroids like everything else. Whats the deal with these poloroids look anyway? I have seen a lot of artists do the same thing.

And actually, to be technical, UC Davis is just right down the road from Sac....much closer than Berkeley, but anyhoo....
Was that Alice that you were listening to? They always played stuff ahead of their time when I listed to it. Or was it The Zone?

Yeah, my guess is that they would be poloroids, but who knows. She's full of surprises (a lot of the other singles looked nothing like the main cd).
I kind of like the poloriods. The string of them that came with the limited edition cd were a cute idea.
You're right, though, Haullie, about a lot of other artists doing the poloroid thing. Must be trendy (haha, like tori has ever been trendy...)
PS: The word "poloroid" always looks funny to me. It looks like some kind of astronomy term, and makes me think of the word "hemorrhoid". Umm... yeah... (sorry, I'm getting weird due to lack of sleep)

Wow, that is great! I am glad radio stations are playing more Tori, it is about time! I swear, here in Toronto they never play Tori on the radio, and if they do it will only be because of a request from a listener or something like that .... it is not fair. However, my mom says: "Tori is just too intelligent for the world, and that is why they don't play her on the radio!" maybe she's right. Hehe.

hahahaha if there IS a collage nearby where I live I never knew about it hehe. I only lived in Sacromento when I was a wee lad so all I can think about is Yuba Collage which is close by. I'm an idiot just for thinking there isn't a collage in Sacrotomato.

The thing that sparks my attention about the song 'Don't Make Me Come To Vegas' is that this song was NOT featured upon Tori's promo CD. Isn't that Odd? It makes me wonder if the rest of the singles or maybe the last two or three will not be ones that were featured on the promo CD.
