So.. I've been meandering around other forums.. this one is Laundromatic.net and it's run by a bunch of teens trying to sell their teeny-bopper stuff.. and some not so teeny-bopper... uhm. so the point is, apparently, the colors i picked for my site and the way my image fades into the background, doesn't work... and well i got a little upset... this girl's website is called redvinyl.net and this was her comment to my site... "ehhhh...i think it's too plain. your background doesn't match with your graphic. and the fading of the graphic isn't all that good either. " I know everyone has different resolutions and stuff but can anyone figure out how to make it decently even on everyone's browser? I want to do this for a living.. uhm.. i guess im looking for CONSTRUCTIVE critisizm.. meh. im going to sleep now. the only way i could get over this was do work for a friend [making her a very simple layout to display HER work] and i did make this: [it's for a site by me coming soon] I'm done rambling now...

Looks great! Don´t be sad about what people are saying. For example, I´m happy when i can find the button to start a computer!

She must be really bored if she just goes around criticizing other peoples personal web sites. I think yours looks great.

I think you have a really great website, don't let others bring you down. They don't know what they are talking about.

I'm never sad about what people say cause if they don't like it all they need to do is ask me about it and if they still don't like it or critisize your work just take it like a lesson, no big deal. If I took to heart every tiny thing people hated about my web site I wouldn't even have a web site by now LOL.

First of all, I think your site is great. Secondly, I too know how hard it can be sometimes when working on web design and graphic design. I often spend hours trying to get a code to work for my site. Though, I think the best way to really learn better web design is to just play around with all the codes and effects. It is amazing how many little things you can create. Practice makes perfect, my friend.
