Dear Friends,
I am very sad to report that due to a LARGE increase in homework (my first time at college) i probably won't be able to come here anymore except for on the occasional Weekend, I'll still be lurking daily but i won't be posting usualy, only moderating....
homework has been so bad for me that I've only been at school for one week and i'm alreayd burnt out. Please pray for me....i can only hope that i make it through..it's amazing how teachers can assume that you only have THEIR class and none other. I love you all and i'll miss you all...

Oh, I know what you mean about college homework, I am first year college as well, and the work as been awful. Teachers can be so inconsiderate sometimes. Anyway, I will keep a good thought for you. Good luck with school! Come back to post when you can.

I hate to say it...but I'm in the same situation. I just started my third semester of Nursing school, so I will be around a lot less as well.  Nursing school kicks my ass. I'll still come on as often as I can though. *hugs to Nattie* |

You people confuse me... I had a ton of homework in high school, and then no homework at all in colllege... I'm a senior now and I still get almost zero homework...

Yeah, I know how that feels. Just don't quit whatever you do, I see a lot of people who get a bad grade or two and think they can't handle college. You will get through it if you try  |

Plus some classes try to "weed" people out of their program so they make it so competitive that you think that you won't be able to pass, so don't ever think that you are dumb for having problems in a course.

i'm right there with ya...this is not my first time in school but it's my first semester back to college...maybe all of us with homework should transfer to Mr. Light's school ;D. my semester doesn't start til tomorrow but i probably won't be around except on the weekends too and that's only if my friend still lets me use her computer.  on the bright side, the weekends should be very entertaining here at the toriforum.  |
