#bzz# Hello, everyone! I'm Eleanor, and pleased to meet you all!
A little about myself, lesee... I'm a young 37 years old, work the midnight shift at a major manufacturing facility, with a very un-lady-like job in assembly, but there are a few of us there. I am an absolute music nut ("music whore", some might say). Current favs incl. Neko Case, Massive Attack & other trip-hop, Enigma, Hooverphonic, Kate Bush, Jewel. I go back to my early 80's Heavy Metal days quite a bit, too. Un-married, no children. I preferr the nighttime to the day. Bit of a goth, but without the piercings or ink. I drink when I can, but quit smoking about 4 years ago and hardly ever looked back.
I'm online mostly in the mornings, before I go to bed, so I'll be back around then. #14#

I'm new to ToriForum I'm a big fan of Tori, but I wouldn't go as far as to say "I'm the biggest Tori fan in the world" LOL Tori is awesome, one of my heroines (sp?) and has (and continues) to help me, and I'm sure a lot of other people, through very hard times... So **waviez** here I am |

Welcome!xo  Great to hear! There is so many dif kinds of music out there that I never would have discovered without the internet. Kate and Tori go way back with me, but MA, Neko & Jewel are realitively new to me, although “Hands” by Jewel has been an inspiration to me since it’s release. Looking forward to getting to know you better!  Kate Bush’s (and also Tori’s) music has been much more to me than just entertainment. A light in the darkness is more accurate. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without their music. Hooverphonic are from Belgium (1996) latest original release was in 2005. Were a “trip-hop” group, but evolved to more of a pop-ish sound without completely abandoning the trip-hop sound. Don’t worry, not too many people (outside of EU anyway) have heard of them! hey all you beautiful people! new here, obviously.  i am a 25 year old tori fan. i have loved her since my sophmore year of high school. one of my best friends introduced me to her & i will be forever grateful to her for that. i love so many different kinds of music, but among my favorites are nirvana, garbage, tori (of course), portishead, phish, alanis, ani d, grateful dead, shpongle, goldfrapp, madonna...& so many more. i have dreadies & i love em to death!!! i have been with my boyfriend for over 2 years & i love him more than i can say. hmmmm...i love to read, watch movies, hula hoop, eat at restaurants... yeah, i love fraggle rock. always have. so i guess that's it for now. this place seems awesome. |
