 Savannah Kay was born at 4:25 this morning. She's 5 lb. 8 oz. and 18.something inches long (I can't remember exactly). ♥ How the freakin' EFF did I miss this?! I kept checking this thread for any further posts from you and only saw the others' stuff... I thought they were saying congratulations for the being in labor part. Gah... So like, disregard my last PM. LOL ... and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!Big hugs for you and your whole family, Carly. Ok, with all the baby-news going around I'm just a blubbery mess today... There are so many babies popping or ready to pop in my family and friends' families right now! How the freaking EFF did I miss this entire thread until now? Lol! You all are so sweet. Thank you. ♥ I actually haven't even talked to my sister yet because she's a snot and hasn't called me back. Everything went well except when the doctors were losing Savannah's heartbeat when Marissa was still in labor. They weren't too worried about it, but they tried to get her out as quick as they could after that! Hels, yes, 5 lb. 8 oz. is a healthy weight. We thought she would be smaller because my sister's measurements had been off the past couple months and it was predicted Savannah was going to be tiny.
I haven't seen pictures yet and I won't even be able to see her until Christmas when I go home...

On a completely different note, I forgot to mention that my dad and stepmom bought a puppy on Saturday. So, a puppy and a baby were added to the household within two days of each other. I think they're nuts for buying the puppy right now...but whatever. |
