I have it and watched it once so far, I love it! No farting noises, though. Jana, do you have that problem with any other DVDs?

There are some good things about it - some of Tori's commentary is really interesting if you can follow the thought all the way to the end of the sentence - and there are some really bad things about it.
If you don't have it already, one thing you SHOULD know is that the mixes from Tales of a Librarian have been used. Sometimes this isn't a problem, but Crucify is an absolute MESS and I'm not too keen on a few of the others either.
All the ones I have issues with are on disc 1, so I expect to be watching disc 2 a lot!

I already knew that remixes from Tales of a librarian were used, but it's not a problem for me... My only doubt is that I've heard that many people - especially in my own country - had troubles with their dvd players. Actually, they inserted the dvd and they couldn't watch anything. I'm afraid that this could also happen to me...

I'm afraid that this could also happen to me... They probably bought it from the wrong country! DVDs have region codes on them. There are two 'versions' of Fade to Red. The American version (which came out first) is region 1, and is meant for people in USA and Canada. The international version is regions 2, 3, 4 and 5 and will work everywhere else except China. There's no difference in the content of the DVD, but the packaging is different. If you buy Fade to Red from anywhere in Europe, it should work perfectly. You also need to make sure that either your DVD player or your TV can convert 'NTSC' signals into 'PAL' signals. Both versions of the DVD are NTSC (which is stupid and lazy, but that's another story). But this shouldn't be such a bad problem - the DVD should still work but you might get black & white pictures or something. And most TVs and DVD players can do the conversion now. If it doesn't work at all, it's probably the region code.

Boring stuff. They could release a normal dvd, without differences between regions and other stuff. Anyway, I'd like to buy American version, but I can't see it. Uff! I could download it from internet and buy american version only. Is it downloadable from internet?

I won't buy it til I get back to Australia. I'm really looking forward to seeing 1,000 Oceans even though I'm not big on the actual song.
Undo - I have a multi-regional DVD player, and a fairly new television (which means that both PAL and NTSC are playable), so there's a chance you'll be able to watch the American version if you have a similar set-up.
I'm very curious about the commentary, but like Trevor said, it could be hard to follow.

I have deemed 1,000 Oceans as my favorite Tori video...and it's definitely not one of my favorite songs of hers.

I've only watched a few of the videos - I had a few minutes one night so I watched 1,000 Oceans because I hadn't seen it before, and a few favourites.
I've watched all of it with commentary though. I love the commentary, it's great #26#
PS. Tim - I love your icon... I have no idea who that is, but it looks great.

Does this dvd contain extras? Or videos and interview only?
