2164. My assistant co-ordinator, Fumie. She has been helping me so much lately at school, and with my medical problems, too, lol. She reminded me so much of my mum the other week when she gave me her hot water bottle 2165. Hugs and smiles from my little ones. It's truly amazing how when you might be feeling so unwell, or in such a bad mood, etc, that kids can dissolve those feelings in a matter of seconds. I completely forgot I was feeling nauseous one day last week because I had a such a great class. Lauren, I'm glad you could re-connect with your old friend. I understand that feeling. My best (but not exclusive) friend in primary school moved to North Carolina in our final year, and I was so distraught... I was surprised even then by how much it affected me. We met a couple of times after that, when she came back to Aussie for holidays, but we've completely lost contact now. It's kinda sad, but in a way I'm hopeful that our paths will cross again. |
