It's like when you're really cold and your nose runs.. then I guess that doesn't mesh well with the dry skin and blahh it all just gets worse. Much better today though. Teehee. |

Teehee. oh, but mine's on the inside! it gets all dried up cuz it's been a really dry winter here and i've woken up many a night covered in nasal bleeding evidence. worst part is when it starts to peel off inside... it feels like i'm sneezing out huge chunk of boogers. very unpleasant stuff, really. |

Yikes, this place is dead (he says sheepishly having not been around for a couple of weeks).
Guess it's a combination of people being out and about in midsummer and people being buried in the depths of winter... or something like that.
Finally changed by sig cartoon, for the first time in MONTHS. I've only got about 40 more lined up after this, and that's only from the first few years of a comice that's been going for about nine years. I love my sluggy sometimes.
Other random thought for the evening: has anyone ever seen a Polish television series called the Decalogue (or Dekalog to be technically correct)? It'd be nice to have someone to discuss it with.

No Dekalog knowledge here, but that Sluggy is seriously slaying me tonight. hubba-hubba...Here's my news: I'm good. I'm tired. I'm busy. I'm good (I need to reassure; folks keep asking). I'm leaving for vacation all next week. I hope they finally have different postcards after 30 years. I'm going to hike and swim and and go boating and yell at my kids. I'm going to be sunburned and my legs will ache for days. I'm going to be happy to be sunburned and achey, although I'll bitch and moan about it every chance I get. I'm going to drink more wine and sangria and beer next week than all year. Well, ok, not really, but it's close. I'm going to watch the sun set over the pine trees 6 nights straight. I'm going to see the sun come up over the lake at least once. I'm going to fall asleep with the light on, remembering. I'm going to be missed. Oh, and I'm good. Yes you're right, it's much better to get angry than emo... I was just having a tough day for multiple reasons. I think this is the first time in my life I've been "kept around," and I must say that I much preferred being dumped. And for multiple reasons I just can't say "fuck off!" because believe me, I'd like to. I'm getting out of Minnesota, I'm sick of the passive-agressive assholes. Oh, I know, there will be assholes anywhere you go - but I'd prefer a new type, maybe the in-your-face brash assholes of New York, or the lazy flaky stoner assholes of Portland. Seriously, passive-agressiveness is my one least-favorite human trick, EVER.
