Thought I was coming down with a cold this morning, was all tired and rundown and weird-throaty. Still generally feel like that, but my head doesn't really hurt anymore... just tired. Like too tired for someone who got 8 hours sleep last night. Ahh whingewhinge.. lol

Here's how my pie went: I bought a pie and then baked it, it was strawberry-rhubarb. Here it is before I baked it:  Here it is as I put it in the oven:  Here it is before I ate it, with brown sugar metled on top, mmmm:  It was a happy Pi day, indeed.  xo |

^ Now you have to go out and buy a pie and prepare it like this:
~Preheat oven to 350C.
~Put pie in and bake until filling is boiling through crust a bit
~Lightly butter the top of pie, put back in oven to melt butter for about a minute
~Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, broil until it's bubbling, about one-three minutes, keep an eye on it.
~Enjoy!

Hehehehehe ... it's way too tempting, really. Good thing none of the ready-made pies at the stupidmarket are vegan. And I'm too lazy to make my own. Which really ends up being a GOOD thing because then I'm not eating pie. (apply the same rule to any other baked goods, and yay) |
