Then the letting go~ Bonnie "Prince" Billy I just made a sort of photo collage using winter pictures and this song. I'm in love with it. I want to do snow angels and listen to this song over and over!. ~ The Black Keys Patty listens to them. So I listen to them. lol... I might be telling you something you already know, but that album and song title comes from my favorite Emily Dickinson poem: After great pain, a formal feeling comes-- The Nerves sit ceremonious, like Tombs-- The stiff Heart questions was it He, that bore, And Yesterday, or Centuries before? Thanks for the poem. I hadn't read it. It's been snowing so much here, the "snow" lyrics, and just the haunting, winter-like nature of "Then the Letting Go" really struck a nerve with me. I love the girl who sings backup vocals. Who is that? |
