Since the season is due to change soon, how has this summer or winter been for you? Share the good and the bad if you'd like, as well as your hopes for the next season.
Many of us keep online journals or blogs, of course, but not all of us update them regularly. So if you feel comfortable, let us know how you're doing!

My bad~ -I've been working ALOT and thus have not had much time to connect with family and friends this summer. -I had a bit of a health incident that really upset and discouraged me. It's also potentially interferes with the plan I had to be completely free of synthetic medications. -It's been a strange tourist season and we have not made quite as much money as we hoped, which is why I have had to tack on more shifts to my schedule. -I've had some bumpy periods mentally, probably due to the fact that I have not been eating or exercising like I should. My good~ -I celebrated my 1 year anniversary of being alcohol-free. -This summer has been easier on me both physically and mentally than any other one in recent memory. I've managed to pull myself out of the bad spots with considerably less effort. -I've taken so many beautiful pictures. -My brother got married! -Our move to Montana the end of Oct. is still on, and I'm unbelievably excited. -I saw Patty G in concert in June. Hopes for the upcoming Fall~ I hope the move to Montana goes smoothly and are able to find a nice living situation (with a bathtub, hopefully. I've been without one for 6 years!) fairly quickly when we get there. I also hope that we are able to secure new jobs and that we both are fairly content with them. I also hope to meet new people and development some good friendships. I'm looking forward to spending the holidays in our new home just us two. And our fur babies, of course.

Ooh I dunno. I guess this winter has been ok. It's had me feeling pretty depressed though, on and off... more 'on' than 'off'. But you get that, it's the only real crap part of winter. It's not that cold so I can't complain about that, it's just the lack of sunlight that gets you.
I'm definately at the point now where I can't wait for summer. Especially summer food! lol.. I miss not having to pay and arm and a leg for eggplants. And bring on the fresh asparagus (not that I'll eat any other kind..) - and cheap avocado. And all the outdoor christmas parties etc. The first part of summer rocks, before it gets too hot.
Ok yeah not sposed to be talking about summer though.. hehe.

Ooh I dunno. I guess this winter has been ok. It's had me feeling pretty depressed though, on and off... more 'on' than 'off'. But you get that, it's the only real crap part of winter. It's not that cold so I can't complain about that, it's just the lack of sunlight that gets you. Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I actually don't mind the cold so much anymore. I lived in Florida for many years and when I first moved to Maine, I hated it. But you adjust. I can never adjust to the gloominess, though. One reason I am looking forward to moving to Montana is the high number of sunny days they have there on average. I can deal with a longer, colder winter as long as I have the sun. The New England states are known for their gloomy stretches, so I am quite excited to move to a sunnier place. Being depressed on and off sucks because when you come out of it, you can't help but wonder when it's gonna hit again, and then when it does, you wonder if you'll be able to pull out of it like last time. Yes you are! You can talk about summer all you want. I asked about plans and such, after all. I already know some of your plans anyway.

^ hehehe. I don't really have any plans for summer other than the usual couple of weeks off from work over christmas etc. And various concerts. Same old shit, different year.. Yes the on/off of the winter blues is the worst thing, totally. Montana sounds great if it is just sunny cold winter days. How lovely

^I'm so excited to see the scenery, most of all, I think. I can't even remember how many national parks and state parks there are there. My camera is getting antsy. But patience does get you places. It just takes foreeeeeeeeeeever.
