skaters? what the... yeah I come here time to time just force of habit. dont really care about posting much, cept now... SKATERS? why that stereotype? I think this is a really funny post! I like when people say "What the"! It makes me laugh. BTW, I pretty much like the skater culture a lot. We have a lot of it around here (by the beach). Avril Lavigne, yuck! I have to change her when she comes on the radio because I know my 7 year old will want to listen to her and she says things like "I'm a m-fing princess". get over yourself. btw, my daughter said a funny thing today. she was sitting by me in bed and sang a line of a song that went "I kissed a girl, and I liked it" and I was like what! And she said, you let me listen to that mommy. And I had, in the car. She said it stuck in her head. And i was like hmm?funny. That whole post made me smile. The Piano~ PJ Harvey White Chalk is one of the most gorgeous albums I've ever heard. I love every note. Her vocal range is seriously impressive. I can't stop listening to it. I heard When Under Ether awhile back and loved it, but now it's hitting me harder. Thank you, Aimee. Again. I can't say it enough. ♥ Edit- Shit, now Avril Lavigne ads are popping up at the top of my screen.

Oh, and I have to add how nice it is to hear all the piano on the album.

CRUCIFYyou know how some times you go a long time without listening to a particular song or album by Tori (i know, eerie concept, but it happens) and then when you do it's like "woooooooow how great is this??"? i'm having this tonight with Little Earthquakes. must've been months since i last listened to it from start to finish.

Months... I haven't done that with any of Tori's albums in a year probably. And yet she's still my favorite artist. Says a lot about how deeply she touched me, how much she guided my life... Anyway, I'm glad you're enjoying the LE. Not a bad idea However, I am listening to By My Side, from Godspell. Such a gorgeous song.

that's a Kate Bush song, elizabeth. you should watch the video for it on youtube. Brooke Shields babbling something in a scene of her new series, Lipstick Jungle, based on a book by the same woman who wrote Sex and the City. it's a bit tedious.

hehe I dunno if there's anywhere to get them now, I bought them at the first concert Hels and I went to in Melbourne. The first one was the best one coz we were general admission and got a nice spot near the stage. Oh nostalgia I'm going to get some of that paper that you can print stuff on and then iron onto shirts.. I've seen some cool stuff done with home-made shirts on a PJ forum. Some girl made a way cool skirt with the images from the Uh Huh Her tracklist all over it. I just have to find a good top to use.. want something a bit more girly than a plain tshirt. Oh well. I'm not even listening to music lol should get outta this thread.

Jay, your signature lines are sad... Yeah, they're from the song Army Dreamers. It hit me really hard when I read the lyrics online, I hadn't paid much attention to them previously. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWdHOm256N4 If you ever wanna see it.

isn't it weird how a 1980 song can flash forward into 2007 so effortlessly? Kate's a genius. Carla Bruni - La Noyée

That she is, my friend... that she is. I was immediately thinking about Iraq once I realized what the song's about.

Brooke Shields babbling something in a scene of her new series, Lipstick Jungle, based on a book by the same woman who wrote Sex and the City. it's a bit tedious. sounds it. and that cashmere mafia show (also a bit of a sex & the city rip off) certainly sucks. ahh the crapness that is tv these days. #cddisc# some lamearse crap on the radio.. dunno what it's called or who it's by. it's that one that goes "my woman from tokyoooooo... blah blah blah... my woman from tokyoooo.. she's so good to me!!" #74#

Cashmere Mafia was canceled already... didn't even make it a full season. it's kind of a shame cuz i really like Miranda Otto, but she'll be returning when they finally air the first season of The Starter Wife, so i'm not all that disappointed. i warmed up to Lipstick Jungle in the end, by the way.
