Saturday 21 February - Brisbane - RNA Showgrounds Sunday 22 February - Sydney - Sydney Showgrounds Friday 27 February - Melbourne - Melbourne Showgrounds Saturday 28 February - Adelaide - Bonython Park Monday 2 March - Perth - Steel Blue Oval Ugh. I hate you Trent. As if they wouldn't sell out an Auckland gig. EDIT: Ohhhh.. ok I just saw on lastfm that those dates are part of some music festival? stink.. haha. www.last.fm/event/736538(omfg Alice In Chains are gonna be there too.. damn.. good thing I hate festivals or I'd be feeling really bummed right about now) |

Well if you do go to Goldfrapp you have to tell me how it was (and I'll try not to be too jealous).
BDO announcement next week.. so far I'm not too familiar with any of the highly rumoured bands, so am kinda hoping I don't have to bother going this time!!

Is it a job in one of those places that have the massive spiders?? eek well I wont be going to goldfrapp. this is the first time I've turned down a concert I really wanted, that doesnt include stuff I didnt know was on hahahaha. anyway I had a look at the seating chart and theres only pretty crappy seats left that still cost $92 sad benny. yeah I've been looking at moving to northern territory. so yeah, fucking hot! theres a ton of jobs I could go for there. at the moment I work with plants every day, but if I'm in NT I'll be able to work with animals as well, which is what I really want. I've seen some footage of park rangers in NT flying a helicopter along the beach looking for turtles caught in fishing nets, dealing with crocodiles, snakes, heritage sites: just to list a few. I'd love doing anything even remotely similar to that. I wanna see some furries and scaley's. I've handled and done surveys on a ton of animals so I think I'm ready. But fucking hell when I was thinking of moving away I realized how attached I've become to things down here. like a lot of me wants to get away from melbourne, its like I know this city too well and I need something else, but then again everything I take for granted here will be taken away from me (just having dinner with family, going into my room and having my whole life in there, seeing mates). I'll be given a clean slate which is a good and a bad thing all at once, maybe I'm just a sook but I'll be at the other side of the country from my family and friends. so its left me a bit emotionally fucked up at the moment, dont know where I'm going and dont know what I want. someone gimmie a hug!!!!  |

Oh I can totally understand that.. I've decided against going to a couple of things lately because I didn't really have the spare cash :\ sucks.. probably a good thing there haven't been many concerts here lately.
Ooh well it sounds pretty exciting, but yes I imagine it's also pretty scary. I hope you can figure out what you want to do without too much more heartache *hugs*

i LOVE that song, Aimee. i'm such a sucker for Elton. his music reminds me so much of my mom. i guess that's because he's the only guy she used to listen to when i was growing up that didn't make me wanna puke. the rest was like, Julio Iglesias and worse. seriously. my favorite song of his is I Want Love. so beautiful. oh yea, and it's great when they play a song you like at a record store and people hum along with you. it's like, you sort of connect to all those strangers for 3 minutes and you find yourselves to be the coolest people on Earth. lol.
