"The symbolism of her is intriguing. Tori is very much into the subject of history I've noticed. When you leave someone and you don't know where they are or how close or far away from you they are, all you can really do is wonder. I mean, I can feel the distance sometimes and sometimes it's getting close."

My experience with "China":
I always think of my ex-best friend, Nicole. We were so tight with each other and then things happened and we stopped being friends, she also moved away after a little while of not being friends. Now I don't know where she is on this planet, but I always wonder how close or how far she is from me. Sometimes I think I can feel the distance.

i pretty much agree. i always think that the u.s. is not too far from china, but we are so far away when it comes to our cultures/customs/etc...thats kind of how it can be between 2 people. you're both right there, but there's something that is keeping you apart.

When you don't know where exactly someone is, you can feel the distance because you haven't seen them in a long time, but you can also feel their closeness because you don't know if infact they are near to you.
