Seriouslly, this song is not bad at all. I can actually see real meaning behind this song. Woohoo for that song. I think everything is back to normal, thank God! Thanks toriforum, you really cheered me up when I was having a bad day yesterday. I took a personal day off school to relax some more lol.

I confess to falling under Christina's spell. Why can't she use for talents for good instead of evil ALL of the time.
One day she's going to look back at 'Dirrty' and that album cover and just go "Oh my God, what was I THINKING?!"

One day she's going to look back at 'Dirrty' and that album cover and just go "Oh my God, what was I THINKING?!" I said these EXACT words when the album cover was staring me in the face at Best Buy after it came out.......I couldn't believe it. I do agree she has an amazing voice & would love to hear more of her "good" stuff, but I can't help but think of well, slutty, images when i listen to her & I don't want that when I'm hearing such a beautiful voice! lol....it's too conflicting for my brain, lol. I do love the song "Beautiful". Linda Perry (from 4 Non Blondes) said she wrote it to be sort of an anthem song, with a Beatles-esque feel to it. I think the song is gorgeous, and many people can identify with it. The video was well done, too, I thought. (particularly b/c Christina pretty much sits in the corner & doesn't flash herself all over the place...hehe....the video focuses on the other vignettes of 'beautiful' people.)

My best friend and I talk about this all of the time. Especially in comparing her and Britney.
Britney has to use a sleazy image to sell her music because she does not have much as far as singing talent. Christina (and whoever her agent is) seems to think that she needs to do the same thing, but she doesn't! She actually HAS a great voice and does not need to dress slutty and sing bad songs.
I really hope that she can change her image and make use of her real talent.

And think of how many more (grown up people who pay for their own cd's) fans she would have....It would seem like a smarter move to be ummmm, real.

I like the song too, I think it is really nice. I don't like her other one called dirrty though, it's kind of lame to me hehe.

I don't think he was looking at the eyeshadow. lol Frankly I'm surprised he escaped its gravitational pull. Okay, step two, PUT SOME CLOTHES ON! Not a lot, just some. Honestly, so many people don't seem to understand the power of SUGGESTION. Ever seen the glove scene in The Age of Innocence. My best friend and I both thought that was one of the most erotic scenes we'd ever seen in a movie, and it's rated for general exhibition. Because it works almost entirely on suggestion.
