Hikaru Utada (my fave Japanese pop artist)

Hi chickens!

I thought I'd give you a link to some nice sounds from a J-pop artist, Hikaru Utada. She's only 20, and was actually born in America. She is totally bi-lingual, havng grown up in both the US and Japan.

I like her because a lot of the Japanese pop sounds the same, but some of her music is quite unique. I really like her voice too -it's not squeaky like a lot of other J-pop artists!

Yep! That's right Fallenangel

The name of the game is called 'Kingdom Hearts' and the song from it is called 'Simple And Clean', which is actually the English version of the fanstastic song 'Hikari'. Hikari is one of my favourites -have a listen!
Sakura Drops is gorgeous too.

Hey, pretty cool!
I couldn't make any sense of that site you posted, so I fired up grokster and downloaded "Travelling".
Listening to it now... pretty good

Haven't listened to any sort of Japanese pop for yeaaaaaaaars! Takes me back to the highschool/japanese class days. Some of the exchange students had a bunch of cds and cd singles (umong other random things) they sold in a little market they set up at school. I bought a cd single by some band.. had 4 guys in it with crazy hairdos (I basically bought it because I thought they looked funny!).. I can't find it anywhere though, so I couldn't say who they are!!
But oh well. We got to listen to all sorts of stuff at the time, it was fun.
