I absolutely love Johhny Cash's cover of NIN's HURT.... The video is amazing....shows clips from his life & career & it's just really touching. I've heard it, but I didn't know that there was a video. It kinda freaked me out. I love the original, but this was just odd. I'm not sure if I like it or not.

ya, DaturaFae, ODD is a good word to describe it! The song really grew on me. The video is really kinda sad, actually....but if you grew up listening to Johnny Cash (my grandparents loved him, lol) you get a different perspective on the video. I think it was really well done. Mark Romanek also has done vid's for red hot chili peppers, david bowie, audioslave...tons of bands.

Do you know what Trent Reznor said about it?? Pink, I don't know the exact comments he made....the LA Times (newspaper here) just said that the video received very favorable praise from Reznor. |

Know what I still haven´t heard the Cash version, it isn´t shown on our music tv and I don´t have MTV.

Just today I could see this video; for some strange reason, in Saladillo the link didn't worked Anyway, I saw it today... and u can call me stupid, but I didn't find a way to hide my tears!!!!!!! Man, this video made me cry like a girl!!!!!!!! It's amazing!!!!!!!! I wanna but the cd of this man RIGHT NOW, and cry a million times with this song, remembering the scene where he's in the table, with a lot of food... but he's alone, with no one to share the food to... Man, it made me cry. Ten stars. Amazing. No words for it... |

wow!!! that was amazing. i have been a huge nin fan for years and i normally hate it when people try to cover trent's stuff cause they usually screw it up but this was awesome and the video was so powerful...mark romanek has been one of my favorite director's of music videos since the closer video and he's again proven himself a master. and the fact that someone like johnny cash would cover a nin song is truely amazing in itself. wow!!!

hee hee...i just love this little smiley face...it sums up my mood the past few days...we have been out of school and work yesterday, today, and tomorrow due to snow and ice and i am getting paid to stay at home and do nothing...woohooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
