Anyone looking for good Ani or a good intro to her - I defintely recommend the double live "Living in Clip" it's really good and was how I was introduced to her. She took me a minute to grow on me but now I really really like her and had no idea she had a new album out so thanks!
Also, saw her in concert in London right before R/R came out, she was good but I was reeaaalllyy drunk so don't remember much! I had first date jitters and drank too much he he!

And I owe it all (well, most of it) to Tori. Seeing all these shows has made me realize how important music is to my life. And being open to other types of music, like Ani. Can't say I like her instantly but I do like certain songs. Anyway, once Annie Lennox is past, I intend on giving Ani my full (well, almost-full, I still have to listen to Tori, right?  ) ear leading up to the show. (See you in SB?  ) Anybody know if it is true that Ani is going solo this time around. No "f***ing bass and tuba"? |

Living in Clip looks great.....I downloaded many tunes from it. I can't believe i waited all this time to get into Ani b/c i am really loving her stuff! Evolved is really growing on me now......"In the Way" is my most favorite right now. For some reason I just can't get enuf of that song. And I heard it on our progressive music station here, so apparently it's getting some play. My kids & I dance to it! lol  Yes, bex, i'll see you in S.B. for sure! Raisangrrl is going to be posting a couple pix of me & Sean (hubby) on the Member gallery thread on the Lounge forum, so you can 'see' us there soon!  |

HEY HONEYBEEGODDESS!!!! Nice new name! I know, I haven't been around in ages! Seems like all is well here at the Toriforum!!! Glad to see you were introduced to Ani -- she really is good. Check out "Both Hands" especially the live version from "Living in Clip" -- it has to be my favorite song of hers! So beautiful!!!! BEXFACE -- LOVED the Pitt show!!!!! how about you? make it M&G? at first, she was playing all the same songs I heard her do in NYC so I was worried it would be very similar but then she just pulled out some doozies! how about "live to tell"  ?? it rocked! and I loved "baker baker" and "putting the damage on." all in all, great show! I didn't make it to the m&g because instead I went over to the South Side where she played a tiny, private show at Club Cafe. couldn't get in (though we tried) but listened from outside. afterwards, they brought her right out the front door and she was just standing there waving and talking and I took a pic. there were only about 10 of us there, but they wouldn't let her sign anything. but it rocked!!!! |

veela, I already LOVE the song Both Hands!! Yay! that private show at the Club Cafe thing sounds like it was awesome! even if all you got to do was stand outside! lol. |
