Yes, i'm getting more into her music with every song i hear from her. I bought "Is This Desire" last sunday and since that day I cannot stop wanting for more from PJ. She's a goddess! I love her! (but Tori is still my number 1  ). |

I absolutly love her song "down by the water"
but "desire", the album... wow, it's amazing. all the songs are talking about the boundarie between love and sex and un-love.
it's very very interesting. you could be listening that album the whole week, and you still keep discovering new things.
"stories" is good too, but no as good as "desire"
and... well...

I bought "Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea" last monday, and it's so damn GOOD!!! I love it I love all the songs but my favourites are This Mess We're In, This Is Love, One Line, The Whores Hustle And The Hustlers Whore, Good Fortune, Big Exit and A Place Called Home. The full CD is a masterpiece though!.  |

polly jean is f*ing amazing. I finally saw her live @ the big day and she was my fave act. I've loved her ever since 'down by the water' came out as a single. I've got desire and stories, i'm working on to bring you my love (at the mo' i have it on library loan!) and i need dry and the demos. She's just brilliant. The funny thing is when she talked about her new album she was saying she wants each song to be able to stand on their own aswell as be perfect as a whole. She never saw 'stories' as that, but i think nearly everyone else does! my one failing for 'stories' i thinks is track 12, that float song....

Wow, I have To Bring You My Love, but it's been hard for me to get into it. Lots of people speak so highly of her, so I feel like I should like her. Looks like Desire should be my next cd to buy.

Tell you what - if you EVER get even the slightest chance to see her live, take it! I only had "Stories" and "Is This Desire" when I saw her, but even the songs that were unfamiliar to me were amazing. The first musician I've ever seen where I had to fight back tears... the person who started this thread is absolutely correct - the woman IS a goddess. And man, is she loud |
