is anyone else an advocate of electronic music?
personally, i love it. drum n' bass, jungle, techno, deep house, and disco are my favorites (kind of an odd assortment, i know).
i live in ann arbor, so i go to the necto when there is a good dj spinning. before motor closed, i went there quite regularly. actually, i used to be a gogo dancer at motor until the music really started sucking, forcing me to quit. panacea is a promising clubbing venue-i saw little louie vega there two weekends ago.
anyway, there are some really exciting things going on in the detroit area in the next couple weeks. marco carolla is spinning at necto tonight, and then next week i'm going to see dimitri from paris and steven sacks(the deephouse.com tour).
and of course, in may, the detroit electronic music festival! and it's back in the hands that it belongs in. derek may and carl craig are in charge of the festival this year! yippeee!
