The Idea of North

I can't believe I haven't got around to raving about these guys before. What I was thinking?!

Okay, I'm biased, they're very home-grown (ie originally from my own little town), but they are SO amazing.

"They" are a quartet of a capella singers. Almost everything they do is totally unaccompanied. Which to the uneducated may seem limiting, but not when you can perform the tricks the Idea of North have up their sleeve.

They have 2 CDs which are both excellent, have a listen if you get the chance. But if you have the chance to see them LIVE (and yes, they DO travel to other countries quite frequently, PARTICULARLY America)...

You MUST Go See Them Live!!!

Not only are they great singers they are some of the FUNNIEST singers you could ever encounter. If they take requests you must positively BEG them to do Staying Alive. Yes, that's right, the Bee Gees song.

Bahaha! If you win, Aims, and you need a 2nd person to go with you just let Sean (beesboy, my hubby) know....He'd gladly drive up there & meet you! He's born & raised in the bay area (near San Fran) & he is a HUGE METALLICA FAN! Hehe...

Wwwhoooooo! Congratulations to the a capella Aussies from Canberra! That's great! And very impressive.....so many awards! They must have blown everyone's socks off.
