has anyone else heard of VAST. If you havent you should at least download a song called Touched... it is so awesome. someone told me it was on the beach soundtrack, however that is not how i heard it, but when i heard it i was like oh that sounds like something else i have heard. the lyrics are so awesome to it..
you should check it out!

VAST is awesome! I got into them when I worked at Camelot music when their first CD came out. Jon Crosby (the main guy of VAST) is on my friends list on LJ...he started an journal and listed ALL of the people who had VAST listed as an interest in their profiles.  A few other songs that I recommened in addition to 'Touched' are: Pretty When You Cry Temptation Three Doors Free Last One Alive Gates of Rock n' Roll My TV and you Actually...I love all their songs. I'm a little partial to the first album, but both are really good! |

yeah Mandy I have music for people and Visual Audio Sensory Theater, I was just listening to that song at the moment and thought a lot of people would probably like it. it usally only takes one song for me to get hooked on and artist or band so i guess maybe i thought other people are the same way

I was added to that on LJ too! That is pretty awesome! I love them! Touched is awesome, but I think my fave's are You and I Don't Have Anything.

Hmm.. I just downloaded Touched (on grokster, the description said it was the one from The Beach soundtrack) and yeah.. I just feel like I've heard it before. How though, I have no idea - no radio stations I listen to probably would ever play a song like this.
The backing vocals (if they can really be called that) remind me a bit of Enigma. Which isn't a bad thing, because I love Enigma.
I'm gonna download more of this... lol I'm glad I noticed and read this thread!

I know they played 'Touched' for the preview of The Beach but I don't think it was even on the soundtrack. They used to play it on the radio years ago, that's where I heard it first. |
