I want Com Lag! Where do you get it? Hi Pat, Aims and I both answered you somewhere a couple weeks ago... I think it was on the 'last 5 albums bought' thread... Anyway, after I couldn't find one in my local stores, I got mine off ebay (new) for $15. I was watching it for a while because the prices were originally up above $20 or even $25 at Amazon and elsewhere. The prices dropped when there was some controversy over a 'glitch' in the song Skttrbrain (basically a bad burn when the cd was put together) and there was talk of a recall. I don't know if they ended up recalling the Japanese imports or not, but I decided to take my chances and order one (apparently, not all were affected). Mine is fine and I love it. There's been an Australian import released as well, I think, just last month. You can find it at Amazon still, but its list price is around $40-$43. You can find sellers that offer it cheaper... around $18-$20 for new, a little less for used. www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0001BDD5C/qid=1087338646/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-1632149-1804169?v=glance&s=musicOr do like I did and find one at ebay. Even with shipping, I got mine for under $20. I'm sure there are other music sites that offer it, too, but I tend to stick with Amazon or hunt for things from reputable sellers on ebay. Hope that helps!

Nice review, Mary... Very well said, as usual! I agree with everything you said... my vote was for HTTT, though, as I just can't get it outta' my system right now. Thanks for turning me on to 'em... To think I might have missed out on this experience!

Ah, Pat, that does make things tricky.... you could always search ebay for a Com Lag seller who would accept a money order as payment (many do). You'd have to mail it in, and it would cost about .90cents extra, but if you're a cash-only guy then that would be the way to get Com Lag in your hands.
Don't give up, because the EP is really worth it!
btw, there are a few versions of the Com Lag EP... I have the Japanese import, the one with the live 2+2=5 video at the end.
PS- I'm going to PM you...

'The Bends' is by far the best. 'OK Computer' is highly overrated, IMO. It's a really good album, but definetely not all that. Haven't listened to 'Hail To The Thief' yet. Hope to do it soon. "Highly overrated" ? blasphemy! Anyways, I can honestly never decide which Radiohead album I like best. I'm a huge fan of both Ok Comp and Kid A. Ok Comp is not a perfect album, but it is still one that will be remembered years from now. Everytime I listen to it I feel like I'm listening in on a huge secret for the first time. The paranoia...the criticalness of capitalism + consumerism, technology, politics, it's all in there! It's a paranoid's dream. It says everything and then some. Not only that, but the bsides are awesome! Polyethelene 1+2, How I Made My Millions (recorded in Thom's home fourtrack with his girlfriend washing the dishes in the background), Pearly, Maquilladora, PALO ALTO! It's awesome. I love it. I wish I could have been more aware when it came out. So that's what Kid A's up against, but I can't separate the two. They're both favorites, they're both beautiful and full of paranoid/melancholic treats. I can listen to both for hours on end. The only disadvantage that Kid A has in my book is that it's scarier to listen to while on drugs.
