Well, I think it's pretty safe to say that I'm rather obsessed with Live right now... (47 DAYS!! lol)
And so I'm trying to listen to the new album whenever possible so that I'm well versed in it in time for the concert..
The most obsessed over song on that album is Sweet Release though. YAY.. loving that song.
I'm also having yet another wave of QOTSA obsession - for the same reasons as Live.. only it's more an obsession with impatience because it's ages till I see them. Bleh.
I'll stop rambling now.

Well apart from all the way-obvious songs/bands I'm obsessed with right now.... (heehee)
At the moment I'm totally loving On My Mind by Powderfinger.
Everytime it comes on the radio I just feel like dancing around like a spazmo.

'Vulture Street' won best new album at the ARIAs ;D Oh yeah, I've been obsessing over 'Ordinary Boy' by Alex Lloyd. It's very autobiographical -right before he left for his American tour. He had just proposed to his wife and was torn between furthering his career and staying with his future wife. Makes me a bit teary. |

Pretty cool video too My sister saw them live a couple of weeks ago, and said they absolutely rocked her socks... so she burnt me a copy of their cd so when they come back next March (so they SAID at the concert, anyway..) she can drag me along with her. |

Stupid ~ Sarah McLachlan ok, pretty much anything off her new album I'm obsessed with... but the chorus in this song just rocks! also: Jimi Thing (live)~ DMB also: Faith Enough ~ Jars of Clay, (which inspired my current "A Farewell to Arms" quote in my sig....in a round-about sort of way....) also: Lodestar ~ Sarah Harmer (I fall in love with this song over and over every few months) also: In My Garden ~ The Badloves (I heard it in the car today and suddenly it was the ONLY song I wanted to hear for the 10 miles I was travelling...over and over...amen for the repeat button.) |
