Joss Stone - The Chokin' Kind[/b] She seriously is one huge case of "does not look like what she sounds like." But I love her voice just the same. I fully recommend this to anyone to download.

Little Sister ~ Juniper
There's another kind of red under the bed We've all been branded Barcode on my head We can all go beep as we checkout Your flexible friend is but a spy Your movements mapped Your drinklink dries I fail to see how this card is so smart
Little sister's been watching you Little sister
So you want to walk the earth You know she flies She's mastered the art Of truth and lies To her you'll never be more than just a number
There's another kind of red under the bed We've all been branded We can all be read Or is it all in my head Kill the cowboy
Little sister's been watching you Little sister

i'm pretty mainstream nowadays, listening to radio a lot... but: Coldplay ~ rush of blood to the head Franz Ferdinand ~ darts of pleasure Keane ~ Everybody's changing Ani DiFranco ~ Second intermission (and the whole evolve album...) Placebo ~ This picture darkness ~ growing on me tenacious D ~ Tribute for the last two I can only say that sometimes music done without too much seriousness is simply amazing...

The above doesn't really do, does it. I mean, it was supposed to be something I'm obsessed with... well, they're all great but not obsessive. In stead, (after seeing the fabulous Kill Bill vol. 2 and downloading some sountrack songs) nowadays I can't get this tune from my head... it's Malcolm Mclaren - About Her and it's simply wonderful... I could listen to it hours on end... (is that how you say it, sometimes you know an english expression but are not sure cause you never used it b4... )

I love the song 'Goodnight Moon' by Shivaree from that soundtrack.... it's been a favorite song of mine for years. And 'About Her' is definitely interesting.... slower than the original, but the music is great.... it's definitely McLaren's style. When I see the name Malcolm McLaren I think... 2 Buffalo Gals go round the outside, round the outside!...

Rachael Yamagata - "Worn Me Down"
Gone. She's gone. How do you feel about it? That's what I thought. You're (?) on up about it.
And I wish you the best But I could do without it And I worry 'cause you've Worn me down Oh, I worry 'cause you've Worn me down
Worn me down like a road I did everything you told Worn me down to my knees I did anything to please
But you can't stop thinking about her No, you can't stop thinking about her
And you're wrong. You're wrong. I'm not overreacting. Something is off. Why don't we ever believe ourselves? And I, oh I feel that word for you. And I worry 'cause you've worn me down Oh, I worry cause you've worn me down
Worn me down like a road I did everything you told Worn me down to my knees I did everything to please
But you can't stop thinking about her No, you can't stop thinking about her
She's so pretty. She's so damn bright, But I'm so tired of thinking About her again tonight.
Worn me down like a road I did anything you told Worn me down to my knees I did everything to please you
Worn me down like a road I did everything you told me to do But you can't stop thinking about her No, you can't stop thinking about her
(everything you told me to do) No, you can't stop thinking about her No, you can't stop thinking about her

Aimee Mann: Save me She's just one of the amazing female artists I'm getting to know after ppl on this forum have talked about her... love this song... Glad that you're getting into her music! Man, I was obsessed with that song for a while, too. Ms Mann certainly has quite a few songs that make me feel that way. It's Not is one of my favorites. People are tricky, you can't afford to show anything risky, anything they don't know The moment you try, well, kiss it goodbyyyyyye.I love all the strings in that song... and I like listening to the lyrics of that song and appreciating how I've proven her wrong. ♥

Thankfully, my favorite radio station plays this song quite often.
What You Are ~ Audioslave
And when you wanted me I came to you And when you wanted someone else I withdrew And when you asked for light I set myself on fire And if I go far away I know You'll find another slave
Cause now I'm free from what you want Now I'm free from what you need Now I'm free from what you are
And when you wanted blood I cut my veins And when you wanted love I bled myself again Now that I've had my fill of you I'll give you up forever And here I go far away I know you you'll find another slave
Cause now I'm free from what you want Now I'm free from what you need Now I'm free from what you are
Then a vision came to me When you came along I gave you everything But then you wanted more
