The Beatles - The Yellow Submarine 5. Bjork - Homogenic This is list is solid for the most part. I will say the 4th sometimes ends up as Nirvana - Nevermind but other then that is is solid for now What are yours? If you can even do it up

Ok this is not difficult, it's IMPOSSIBLE! I can usually narrow it down to 10, but I dunno if I can do 5...

Haha Aims same here... I should make a list like "Top 5 albums for sad moods", "Top 5 albums for happiness" etc... That I could do. But just top 5 all time... the list changes according to my mood. I'll try to think about it, though.

I'll try to think about it, though. Yeah, I can make a list of 10.. and actually have managed to do so in the past. Ok well I guess I'll make a half-arsed attempt at 5 anyway. In no order whatsoever: Ænima - Tool Badmotorfinger - Soundgarden Led Zeppelin III - Led Zeppelin The Bends - Radiohead Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd

GAH! This is hard. But let's see...
1. David Bowie: The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust... 2. Tori Amos: Little Earthquakes 3. Beatles: (tie) Abbey Road & the White Album 4.Queen: Sheer Heart Attack 5. Sarah McLachlan: Fumbling Towards Ecstasy
Those are the biggies- if I went beyond that, it would quickly turn into a top 100 or more, just because there's so much stuff that I love.

LOL, obsessive list-making comes in handy in these situations...
This list IS in order, except that Radiohead is threatening to storm in here now that I know about them. But entries are not permitted until albums have stood the test of time - at least a year.
Oh, and one entry per artist, otherwise Tori would have had at least 2 and possibly 3 spots.
1. The Soul Cages ~ Sting 2. Boys for Pele ~ Tori Amos 3. The Rainy Season ~ Marc Cohn 4. The Seeds of Love ~ Tears for Fears 5. House of Hope ~ Toni Childs

(and the 2 other Tori albums you might add if you could, I would add, too...IF your choices are still the same...which I'm almost positive they are since you don't change easily...) ...and I've got a couple albums ditto-ed from your list in mine, too, but I think we already knew that. -------------------- My top 10 has remained pretty much the same in the past year, but I can see how in time Beth Orton's Daybreaker, Radiohead's Hail To The Thief, Aimee Mann's Lost in Space, Ben Folds' Rockin the Suburbs, Damien Rice's O, and Jeff Buckley's Grace might very well be finding their way onto my upper 10....they are definitely at least in the bottom half of my top 30. 01. Boys For Pele / Tori Amos 02. Achtung Baby / U2 03. Fumbling Toward Ecstacy / Sarah McLachlan 04. Crash / Dave Matthews Band 05. Soul Cages / Sting 06. Hounds of Love / Kate Bush 07. So / Peter Gabriel 08. IV / Led Zeppelin 09. Tigerlily / Natalie Merchant 10. Ray of Light / Madonna

Oh dip. I love and hate these questions simultaneously..and I can't resist answering them. Hehe. Umm...For the past billion years it's been: Michael Jackson - "Dangerous" Alanis Morissette - "Jagged Little Pill" Smashing Pumpkins - "Siamese Dream" U2 - "The Joshua Tree"
~and~ Lady T's "Little Earthquakes"... But I'm inclined to add that these albums have greatly influenced me as well: Hole - Live Through This Slipknot - Iowa Otep - Sevas Tra Christina Aguilera - Stripped Janis Joplin - Pearl
And I'm going to stop now.

OMG SLAVE! You are TOO COOL! I would have to say that JLP and LE would be on mine... as well as Mellon Collie instead of Siamese Dream (it's such a difficult decision between the two but I feel that MC is just a bit more expansive and brings me on this huge trip across the universe... it's such a theme album)
Official list will come later today.
