Hehe, yeah... You'll hopefully be getting it even earlier than the rest of us Americans... Man, too many good CDs/videogames/movies coming out... I am starting to have to make some difficult decisions, yo! But rest assured I'll be getting Uh Huh Her

Hehe, yeah... You'll hopefully be getting it even earlier than the rest of us Americans... Well I'm gonna be calling trusty old Brett at the local next week to see what he knows about it... And probably some of the other stores also... I'd prefer to buy it from the store I like the most, but sometimes they're slower getting things in than I'd like and I'm forced to go elsewhere. Tsk tsk... My leg hurts. Dammit.

O.K, Aimee here I am! I've been listening to the C.D you sent over and over. You make a mean compilation, girly! I don't think I'm the first person to say that either. My favorites thus far: Plants and Rags~ You already know I'm digging this one to the extreme. I really identify with the lyrics for one, and I love the beat to it. Like I said before, the instrumental part after the white to black lyrics really rocks my socks off. That Was My Veil~ My favorite of all the songs. I just love it. I want to bawl my eyes out every time I hear it. Is there anyone who can't identify with such a song? I love the ending. A gorgeous song. Beautiful Feeling~ Incredible. I have no words other than that. She really captures what she wants to with this one. More later. But I'm loving it.

Yay! I'm so glad you finally popped back up on this thread, and also very glad you're enjoying the cd!
Oooh... I LOVE That Was My Veil.. I almost put another song on there from that album, called Is That All There Is. You should download it if you get the chance actually... it's so cute. It's basically just her talking, and then she sings a bit and then talks again... it's kinda hard to explain. I thought it was a kinda funny song, maybe because you hear more of her speaking voice than her singing voice, you can hear more of her humour coming out in it or something... But then on the other hand, a friend of mine downloaded it and thought it sounded quite sad. So I dunno.. as with all music, it means different things to different listeners.
Anyway, I have nothing good to say anywhere today.. so I'll end this post now. I'm really sore and tired and things just aren't coming out.

OOoooooh very cute pic! www.livejournal.com/community/pjharvey/104833.htmlThe lj user that posted it took that pic from the tv themselves, so I didn't think it would be nice to steal it and post it here without giving some credit, so.... I just posted the link to the entire thing instead

I am anxiously awaiting the album and tour... but especially "Who The Fuck?" - I am pretty sure that song is going to rock. I was so right, though. Yeah, Polly Jean needs to get her ass out and play more tours. Sigh. I miss her.

I think I've come to the conclusion that Dry is my personal favorite... I dunno if I already mentioned that, Aimee.
Julie's choices are excellent too, though. I had a huge obsession with Is This Desire? for a while. Still is one of the best records out there to get stoned to. If I did that. Which I never do, it's an awful habit.
