I've bought bugger all cds for aaaaages... so I only have ONE recent purchase to add. Would wait till I rack it up to 5, but that could take forever at this rate. So...
The Woods - Sleater-Kinney (at last) woo hooo.

I'm having a similar dilema with the Lateralus vinyl. I want it SOO bad but to get it here it's somewhere around $80 because the only decent shop that sells vinyl rip you the fuck off when they import stuff. It's disgusting. I hear the going rate for it in Aussie is $60-something bucks. A friend of mine got the limited edition for about $40 through some kind of employee discount, but I'd even pay $60 for it. Ok. I'm gonna shut up about it now. And just go cry in a corner or something. Wait a sec! I saw lateralus in the same shop for $45 also. If you wanna wire me the money I could buy it then send it too you.

^not sure, what does the limited edition one look like? The one I saw was in a clear plastic sleeve with the cross section head on the vinyl.

Yeah I think that's it... my friend reckons the vinyl had the whole cross section thing printed on it. I figure that for me to transfer the money to you would probably end up almost as much as what I'd pay for the vinyl here, once you add on the transfer fees and stuff. So thank you HEAPS for the offer, but don't worry bout it (I'm thinking of trading in some old crappy cds I don't listen to, and bringing the price down a bit like that when I get the vinyls!)

The Woods - Sleater-Kinney (at last) woo hooo. And I haven't bought any CDs lately, really... I did buy a Nintendo DS with Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and Kirby: Canvas Curse, though. I'm such a nerd but it's so worth it.

Horses - Patti Smith Come On Feel The Illinoise - Sufjan Stevens OHHHH!! AND!! The LATERALUS vinyl This site (of a local store) had it for $66 and I figured that was good enough. I'm sick of thinking about it, really. So yaaaay.

Come On Feel The Illinoise - Sufjan Stevens OOH! I've been looking for someone to ask about that! Is it good? I've heard positive things and I feel obligated to buy it. I mean, Illinois is the state in which I live. But I saw the CD at TurbidBlue too so he must be likeable to Tori fans.

I've downloaded like 4 songs from it, and liked those so I decided to buy the album. I think Mary and Hels are fans, they'd probably be able to give you a bit of a review
