haha, yeah theres a few second hand music shops around me that dont have a clue how much their stuff's worth, I generally go on a tour of them once every 2 months or so and spend a bit of cash. lol, I'm like a kid in a candy store when this happens!

I only bought a few things but it seems to take me FOREVER to end up with 5 new purchases, so bleh....
* Bsides & Rarities - Deftones
(this kicks more arse than I expected it would - and it's nice having the dvd too)
* Time Space - Stevie Nicks (best of)
(I only had Bella Donna, and figured I'd better get more familiar with her solo stuff before March)
* Live In Cuba - Audioslave
(ok it's a dvd but so what?! it came with a cd too .. .hahah.. omg, they do 3 or 4 Soundgarden songs... including SPOONMAN.. it's too wonderful)

I made the piddy purchase of 1 new cd the other day.. lol Live at Olympia - Jeff Buckley Yay, it's so fabulous too  (I got that new Dresden Dolls dvd and a Tea Party video dvd too.. yayy.. have to go watch them soon) |

Sean is 30 miles away from me right now but I can FEEL him being jealous of your Live In Cuba, LOL. [That's going to be one of his Christmas presents this year.] Hahha. They do a Rage song too! Sleep Now In The Fire. There's also another one that they just do instrumentally before that, but I can't remember what it is. Needless to say, the crowd go crazy over it. Chris did an okish job with SNITF (LOL @ that abbreviation).. not bad but not fabulous. Oh well, to be expected I guess. |

Ok, I have bought exactly two CDs after the Beekeeper.
1) Aerial
2) The Sensual World
both by Kate Bush. And within a month of each other, no less!
When I get my tax return money and if I can't use it on a train ticket to somewhere nice, then I'll use it to complete my Kate Bush collection and buy perhaps some other nice music. I really want a collection of Misfits-songs--I used to have one collection on tape, but I left it at a friend's place once and never got it back... Although some of their songs' subject matter is yucky and lamely "rebellish", they're probably the poppiest actual punk band in the history. Where Eagles Dare is a total pop song!
Wait, why the hell do I want Misfits? And why did I write that here?

It was SOOOO crazy in there. The audience was going nuts, especially on the "Some of those that were forces are the same that bore crosses" part of Killing In the Name (KITN, lol). |
