Whoohooo! You're even buying Whiskeytown! My work with you is done, I think! LOL Oh, no. Please keep introducing me to new music. I'm serious. There's nothing I like better than a good crazy music obsession. Oh, I know. I was just teasin'. Ok, go see the thread I made today for more musical obsession talk.

And you know, every once in a while I listen to the handful of old Tinker's Punishment songs I downloaded. What ever happened to those boys - they still rockin'?...

I made a mixed CD for Sarah about a month ago to take on her trip to Michigan and put one of their songs on there!

Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam 10,000 Days - Tool Stadium Arcadium - Red Hot Chili Peppers
and sometime within the next few days I must also buy: Love Is The New Hate - Shihad ...because it's been re-released with a live dvd... and even though I HATE it when bands do that (I don't want to buy the whole damn album all over again!!), I will let it slide this time because they kick arse..

Is it as good as their first album?? To be honest,i started to hear the Dresden with this new release i just know two or three songs about the album before..Anyway.. i think it sounds very "rock",i'm simply amazed how they are just two and they sound as a 4/5 elements band..i hear a bass(and there's NO bass..)i hear a guitar(and there's NO guitar..lol).. If you wish,Aimee,i send you this cd as i did once upon a time with Mark Lanegan cd

buying cds is so last century. i download them (illegally). latest one i'll get tomorrow will be Courtney Love's America's Sweetheart. critics gave it a bad rap when it came out so i never bought it, but a good friend of mine was listening to it today when i dropped by and we ended up listening to it on a loop all over dinner. great record!

Not sure about last five CDs, but the last two were: The Audreys - Between last night and us Warsaw Village Band - People's spring
The Audreys are a sort of Australian Blue Grass band who occassionally drift into pop.
The Warsaw Village Band were a group of music students in Warsaw who, as a university project, went about the country recording traditional Polish songs, and then came up with contemporary arrangements for them.
Very good albums both of them, though, unless you speak polish, you have to take the vocals of the Warsaw Village Band as one more instrument (but they work well as an instrument).
