Shakira - Fijación Oral PJ Harvey - Dance Hall At Louise Point PJ Harvey - Rid of Me PJ Harvey - The 4-Track Demos PJ Harvey - B-Sides
Gee, axme... looks like we have some taste in common!
And I'd like to say that I refuse to buy the White Stripes album because of the title... if I was a HUGE fan I might be able to get over it, but being I'm just a middle-of-the-road listener, who enjoys their work somewhat, it's just too much for me. I don't want Satan getting behind me, damnit! lol I'm sure it's a metaphor or something, but still. Just... no thanks.

Oh that is really great! I recently started to really apprciate PJs music. It is absolutely fanatastic. I especially enjoy the way her music has developped from every album to the next.
Oh, and concerning The White Stripes. I f you like Elephant and especially De Stijl, you will love this album, too. It has this kind of jazz, blouse mood to it which i really like. it is not as raw as the other ones are. get it!!!

I agree with axme, Jason! GET THE WHITE STRIPES ALBUM!!! If it makes you feel any better, they only use "Get Behind Me Satan" as the album title. There isn't a song with that title and there is no lyric that says, "get behind me satan" either. lol

Haha, well... I'll download a few preview tracks, if you insist. And if it's good enough I'll spend the cash... I hate downloading entire albums, I think it's wrong. Unless it's, like, crappy pop.

Ok, but you better pick good ones! Like "Blue Orchid" or "Forever For Her (Is Over For Me)" or "The Denial Twist" or "Take, Take, Take" or...

And isn't Dance Hall At Louise Point one of the strangest, yet most intriguingly good albums you've listened to in a long time? If you haven't gotten into it yet... do so! It's definitely a purely unique piece of music.

I am also not that fond of the first two PJ albums. They're still too raw for me. But I'll give them a few more spins.

Yeah, Polly Jean's like that. You really have to listen to her a few times to get it - maybe more than a few. I know that if I'd started listening to her a year ago, I wouldn't have liked her very much. She's SO raw and that can be difficult to listen to... but don't give up!

I even started collecting her singles but some of them are very, very hard to get... Have you bought the White Stripes by now?
