LMAO at the line in that song toward the end... what Eurydice says to Orpheus when they're both "down the well"... If you play that f-ing thing down here, I'll stick it up your orifice!" Makes me crack up everytime! Seriously, though, I love the story-telling on that album... and in this song, particularly, where the sad tale from Greek mythology gets slightly demented in ture Nick Cave form. ;D O, Mamma! Also, did you see they are putting out a double A-side next week?! There She Goes My Beautiful World/ Breathless (remixed) The cd single will feature the exclusive b-side song, "Under The Moon". Hoooraaayyyy! ...Let the belllllls ring........ ¢ÜI have to say that line makes me smile too... not that keen about the single though, with two songs practically on the album already... well, maybe I will get it nevertheless... P.S. now it's 6 days, 6 hours, and 10 minutes till X-mas!

: There is a town (just in my head...)

Ahhh, I tried to post a comment there, but it wouldn't let me. Probably because I'm an LJ loser, lol. I'm glad you enjoyed the show for the most part. I know JUST what you mean about a dead crowd kind of ruining it for you, as far as energy goes. And what was Mr Cave thinking cutting out those Orpheus lines?! Big ol' bop on the head for that move, Nick. Do you know if the backup singers for his concerts are the same as on the album (the London Community Gospel Choir)? I absolutely LOVE the vocals they lend to the new songs. Reminds me a lot of the female backups for No More Shall We Part... gives the same kind of feeling to me. So good. LMAO at "some might call him a Monkey Man"...!!! Thanks for the read, Tanja. ;D

Too bad about the LJ, a friend of mine who hasn't got an LJ nick was able to comment, so you should be able too... but sometimes LJ simply sucks (or is moody maybe ? ), so pliz, don't think it's you. I have no idea if the backup choir were from the same group; but they were good, so I don't even care! ;D
