This may be painful for some of you, I know, but I'm curious! I personally like Mer de Noms more. I LOVE a select few songs from Thirteenth Step, but I LOVE most of Mer de Noms. I've been listening to it constantly these days.

That album is so perfectly crafted, every song fits perfectly and flows into the next. The only complaint I have is I wish there were more songs... As for MdN, try as I might, I just don't feel it like I do their latest... |

Another 13th Stepper here. In fairness, though, I haven't yet given MdN nearly as much spin-time, but from what i've heard I just go for 13th Step a bit more. LOVE that whole album. I agree with Sean about the flowing thing, too. The album is very cohesive as a whole.  Good poll, Caz.  |

Nope, not painful for me at all.
Somewhere during my second listen I realised that I loved Thirteenth Step more!
Maybe it's because Mer de Noms just got so much overkill... (though I don't think it's overkill if I played it so much coz I loved it, dunno) and I'd been listening to it for over 3 years and was so ants-in-my-pants before it came out (to the point of pre-ordering it) so I guess the excitement over their first album died down a while ago.
Oooh rambles of rambles.
I have to go have breakfast and get ready for the hellhole.

Ah, my favorite APC song is 3 Libras[/b] and I feel like the bright spots on Mer De Noms are brighter than those on Thirteenth Step, but Thirteenth Step is just better as a whole than Mer De Noms in my opinion. I agree again about the flowing better, and I just think the overall quality level of Thirteenth Step is more solid and higher. I skip around a lot more on Mer De Noms...

So I googled it and duh.. Running Up That Hill.
But of course I was hearing it in a male's voice - the male's voice being the wonderful Mr Brian Molko.
So no wonder I couldn't figure it out in relation to your Kate Bush pic at first.
Oh well.
This has nothing to do with this thread but I'm too lazy to put it somewhere more relevant.
