To those that don't know Alex Lloyd, you'll have to ignore this ramble for a bit, but please do check him out some time! He's a rockin' Aussie muso with some mysterious, beautiful lyrics to boot! He played live last night, and I am still on a high I don't have the setlist, but the main thing is that he played the following: Everybody's Laughing (first!) Momo Bus Ride MY WAY HOME ♥ Which well and truly rocked the place out and gave me the biggest non-sexual orgasm ever. Well maybe not ever, but pretty close!!! Black The Sun Snow Trigger Beautiful There were lots of Black The Sun treats, (my fave album) most of which were 'rocked up' and sounded just AWESOME. He also did two acoustic songs at the beginning of his encore which reminded me of Tori and her 'Secret Time'. It was lovely. You can see Alex below in my sig If you can, check out Black The Sun, Watching Angels Mend, and Distant Light - his three albums. I'm not sure if you can download snippets or whatever but you won't regret it!

Ohhh, Bus Ride and My Way Home in a set that starts off with Everybody's Laughing and ends with Beautiful?! PERFECTION! I've GOT to get the Distant Light album. I'm going to link his site here in case others want to check him out like I did last year. www.alexlloyd.com/PS- If anybody goes checking him out, HE'S NOT THE RACECAR DRIVER!! LOL, just so you know... PPS- Helen, I keep forgetting to tell you that I love the AL songs you sent me. Been quite obsessed with replaying Ordinary Boy over and over lately....

Oh yes, I'm loving Ordinary Boy too ~part of the reason I put it on the comp. Jodi tells me it's autobiographical, written about the time just before he left for his American tour. A lot of Aussie fans, including Jodi and I, feel that Distant Light is the weaker album. Even Alex said it was very rushed for the record company and said he was almost beyond caring towards the end. There are a couple of songs on there I love though.
