I'm stuck on my list because I've done all my regular CDs but not my mp3s nor my Tori music - so I'm avoiding the task for now... I'll get it done soon, though. Maybe Sunday I'll have the free time. What makes me sad is all the music I know I'm forgetting just because I can't think of things offhand (I'm horrible at it, s'why I can't do crosswords) so I'm only going by what I own and what other people post. Like, I almost missed putting Weezer on until I borrowed my friend's CD and ripped it just a few days ago. D'oh!

Jay, I totally understand how you feel about the songs you'll have to leave off (either by choice or by forgetting them). What we've done before on other message boards with this 'game', is to post our "bubbling under" list. You can make it as long as you like. It's basically a list of honorable mentions that didn't quite make the top 100 but that you still love. (And really, on any given day, one of them just might've made the top 100, because we all know that our tastes and preferences tend to fluctuate, right?) Anyway, it offers a way to 'show off' the other songs you love and feel better about leaving them out of the 100. You can rank-order your BU songs, too, or just lump them randomly into a list. I've seen people have a BU list of 200 songs before... in addition to the top 100 listed! LOL Go crazy, I say!

I changed my list-I had forgotten to write down Little Martha by The Allman Brothers but it was one of the first songs I thought of and is my favorite. So I took off Anna Begins by the Counting Crows. Does anyone know the song Little Martha by the Allmans?

I've reserved part of this weekend to do it, thank goodness. I've had some revelations, which could either complicate things or makes things a bit easier!

I CANNOT BELIEVE I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS! Oh man, I have some work to do. I am deliberately choosing NOT to look at anyone else's list for starters. Consider this post my notepad where I will jot down songs. Points will come later. I am going to have to be EXTREMELY picky I think. DEFINITES... I think... Tori Amos - Spark Phil Collins - I Wish It Would Rain Down Sting - Why Should I Cry For You Yes - Owner of the Lonely Heart Bryan Duncan - Faithful To You Peter Gabriel - Red Rain Jars of Clay - Jealous Kind Seal - Prayer for the Dying Radiohead - Let Down Tears for Fears - Woman In Chains Marcella Detroit - I Believe POSSIBLES Sting - Englishman in New York Sting - Island of Souls Tori Amos - ahem, most of my top 10... Numbers 2 and 3 realistically have the best shot. The top 3 was the easy part. Jennifer Knapp - By and By george - Growing With Love, Jaded, Special Ones etc Janet Jackson - If, or Miss You Much The Buggles - Video Killed the Radio Star Okay, NOW I'm going to start looking at other people's lists for help.

6.origin of love- hedwig and the angry inch Heeeeeeeeheheheheeee.. I can't believe Hedwig has shown up on someone's list. You kick massive amounts of arse I am deliberately choosing NOT to look at anyone else's list for starters. Yeah, good plan. I think I'll do that too... it's already hard enough as it is. Haven't even started mine yet. It's too yukky!! Might do now though, while I have some spare time.
