Their new album (Roland and Curt reunited for this!!) is out this week!! It's called EVERYBODY LOVES A HAPPY ENDING. And it does indeed play like a "storybook". It's also VERY Beatles-esque in sound... that's coming from Mary and Sean who actually were alive when the Beatles were still together, but yeah, the sounds on this album are wonderfully and unmistakably similar to some of my favorite Beatles moments... Lots of lush upbeat sounds and plenty of singalongability. The whole album is quite impressive. I love it! I read on their site that the guys said this was the album that should've followed up "Seeds Of Love", and I agree it definitely makes a nice (delayed) follow-up. If you like that one (ahem!) you'll LOVE this one, I think. You can check out their site. They have 2 full tracks playing there. www.tearsforfears.net/site.htmlTwo thumbs up from me!!! ;D ;D

have you already heard their new song? they performed it live a loooooooooong time ago when the album was first supposed to be released. it's called 'Mellow' and it's classic Tears For Fears. i couldn't ever express how much i love this band.

Actually it's called "Call Me Mellow" and I hadn't heard it until about a month before the album came out on their new TFF site. I CANNOT say enough about how much THIS ENTIRE ALBUM seriously ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF. I haven't taken it out of the cd player since I got it 2 weeks ago... well, I did, but that was only to carry it to another cd player in the house and play it there. It's like classic TFF and someting all fresh and new at once. I'm REALLY enjoying it. Each and every song is GOLD! Definitely among my top 3 picks of best albums released this year. ;D I'm completely addicted to "Who Killed Tangerine?" (Sean loves it, too) and "Ladybird"... and the title track is so fun and interesting and just starts the whole thing off with such a great WOW bang! It's yummy!! GET. THIS. ALBUM. NOW!!!

Ooh, everyone called Seeds of Love Beatles-esque. I LOVE Seeds of Love. Number 4 on the all-time list (insert 'one album per artist maximum' disclaimer here) Definitely need to add this to the listening inquiries list. PS I need a list of my lists.

PS I need a list of my lists. LMAO! Trevor, on the Radiohead message board there's a lot of people like us who love music and making lists.. and we discovered we like to make lists of lots of other things, too. So a while back there was a thread started... it was a List of Lists! It was interesting!
