i just sat down and listened to the album "Rockin' The Suburbs" by Ben Folds straight through from start to finish. it's one of those "rare" albums that make you cry and you're not completely aware of it until the end. it's a great album and i can't belive i wanted this long to get it.

Yeah Rockin' The Suburbs is a top notch pop album! I've always admired Ben Folds' style....the way he mixes jazz in with pop, it is fantastic =) Luckiest always makes me cry, and so does Still Fighting It. His voice and lyrics are so heart wrenching! I love " The Ascent Of Stan", its so groovy =) I still haven't mastered that bridge on "Fired" though...isn't the story behind "Gone" incredibly hilarious? Some guy taking acid and going up in a tree...haha I can't get over it. Sounds like something I would do =S

I love that album. I wasn't really that crazy about his recent live album though, it hardly touches my CD player.

Sounds like something I would do =S Hey, littlelash, I think you meant to say that's "Not The Same"! (the acid trip, up the tree, coming down the tree a Christian, lol) I love that song... my favorite. Ascent of Stan is killer, too. That's my husband's favorite song. It's amazing to watch him play that live.
