hey pple.... im new here so forgive me if this has been discussed before......  was always wondering...... which artist do u think would be perfect to collaborate with tori for a duet? i never can think of a good one... i think i just love my tori.... solo..........  she's too good........ what do u reckon??  |

Hi tori fans, I think Trent Reznor or maybe Michael Stipe would be good as duet partners for tori. I guess you know Maynard from tool did a duet with tori on "live from new york" I thought that was pretty cool.
I like Trents back up lyrics in "past the mission" I just wish you could hear him more in the song.

I can say a female artist..A singer from my country named Elisa,she got a good writing and her acoustic mood is close to Tori,so i think that a duet with her could be interesting |

hmm I think tori and david gray would be wonderful him with his guitar and her pounding gently on the piano to me it would be such a wonderful clash of voices very male and very female...and of course it would be a sad love song...hmm like stop draggin my heart around, something of that nature....Great thread particle

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? that man would come up with some mean stuff with Tori! i don't think Tori's cut for dueting with a woman. i don't know, her voice as a female is just too strong to share with someone in the same position. besides, all women Tori could possibly duet with are also women of strong voices who work better alone, like PJ, Fiona and Kate. noooooo, she has to duet with Nick freakin' Cave! Trent Reznor wouldn't be a bad idea, but i guess it'd be just too obvious.

Omg YEAH! Nick Cave + Tori would be excellent! And I also reckon Jeff Buckley if he was still around... holy shiiiiiiiiit that would sound awesome. Ok well, I know it's been done but I don't care - I want another Maynard duet!! A while ago when we had that thread going about songs we'd like to hear Tori cover, someone said The Noose by APC and ever since, I'll get that song stuck in my head with Tori's voice singing it... and even though it's imaginary, it sounds amazing  So I say her and Maynard need to get together and sing The Noose!! |
