Shakira - Plugged or Unplugged?

I actually had to work this out song by song to decide...

1. Ciega, Sordomuda - ¿Dónde Están Los Ladrones? wins. I just like the poppier version more, sadly... It's catchier and more fun to listen to.

2. Si Te Vas - Eh, tie.

3. - Moscas En La Casa - MTV Unplugged. I think most of the sad songs I like better when done live, she puts so much more emotion into it...

4. No Creo - ¿Dónde Están Los Ladrones? Hmm, I think there's a trend of liking the poppier versions of the upbeat songs.

5. Inevitable - MTV Unplugged. Argh this is so a hard one, but I think I have to go with MTV Unplugged because it just feels more heartfelt. When she sings "Y para ser mas franca..." live...

6. Octavo Día - ¿Dónde Están Los Ladrones? The instrumentation they used in this version is so much more interesting, I feel. The atmosphere is much heavier.

7. Que Vuelvas/Estoy Aquí - MTV Unplugged. Yeah, no contest. Estoy Aquí live rocks my socks off ;D

8. Tú - MTV Unplugged. Oh God, she just feels like she's crying when she sings this version. Her voice is perfect.

9. ¿Dónde Están Los Ladrones? - MTV Unplugged. Yeah, it's the title track, but she does it better live. She just puts so much more energy into it...

10. Sombra De Ti - Tie... I think the original is a bit more emotional... but the Unplugged version sounds almost sexy in a way...

11. Ojos Así - MTV Unplugged. I love the original for being so danceable, but I love the second one more for feeling so much deeper, almost mysterious...

UNplugged, naturally! i actually didn't even buy Donde Estan Los Ladrones exactly because almost every single song on that one was performed in the unplugged concert in a far superior version. and i can't believe you like the original version of Ciega Sordomuda better! the guacamole version is far superior! i mean, c'mon, "ay ay aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ay ay ay aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, olé!" it rocks, man.

I'll have to think about this more but I can safely say that I like the studio versions of "Moscas En La Casa" and "Sombra De Ti" more than the unplugged versions.
