We don't normally take to spammers here at the forum, but I'll bite. I haven't heard Emma's new cd but I did watch Spice World yesterday, I think she's really sweet. I'm sure she's grown up a bit anyways since then. xo

I don't really see the spamming quality of this poster, but too bad if she won't post anywhere else. My answer to the question is: I disliked Emma in Spice Girls, and I'm sorry to say that the dislike was strong enough to make me feel very indifferent about her solo career :/ But it's cool if she has created her own style of doing things. I'm kind of sad about how Geri turned out... I guess by the amount of replies to this post you can see that not too many Tori fans listen to Emma.

ok well Im a Tori fan and I listen to Emma. Her style has really matured since her days as a Spice girl. They aren't anything alike. They have very meaningful lyriks and wonderful melodies.

Oh, I'm sorry Jessicah, didn't mean to be rude. From your introduction I just gathered that you might not be Tori-fan and just wanted to find out if there was a connection between Tori-fans and Emma-fans. I shouldn't have made such generalisations.
I think I'll give Emma a listen once my stereosystem is hooked up again (it's been ages since I've actually listened to something and browsed the net simultaneously...)

I just feel bad for Emma because her CD is really good and she has a lot of talent but people can't get past that she was a Spice Girl. Her Free Me album is so different from that. I just want people to give her music a chance and for her to get the respect she deserves.

I went to www.emmabuntonofficial.com/ and listened to couple songs there... it sound groovish (Austin Powers style... which is good, I love Austin and the music on those movies, the first one esp.) and a bit Robbie Williamsy... would do as party music I guess... not bad, basicly.

I really love her new album, especially Maybe and Lay Your Love On Me. Maybe is so funky.. it's hard not to get up and dance to it everytime it comes on.
