RIP Paul Hester

Hi peeps,

Just wanted to say RIP to ex Crowded House drummer, Paul Hester.
He took his life on Monday afternoon. He had been suffering from depression.
I'm very saddened by this, as I am huge Crowded House fan, and Paul had such a fantastic energy in the band. He was also from my hometown (Melbourne).
The Finn brothers dedicated their Monday night concert to him in London.

Ohh... it was so nice to stumble upon this thread.
(meaning I've mentioned this in a couple of internetish places and haven't had much of a heartfelt response - one of the places being my friend's blog that's supposed to be all about music, pfft...).

I only just found out about this yesterday - can you believe that?! Just goes to show how out of touch with the news I get when I'm not at work.

Anyway, I've been rather sad/teary about this as well.
I hope that he's feeling happier now wherever he is
